I used one once. While the low pressure seems right for what you want, the flow rate is just crap. You're almost better off with just a hose at house pressure. Much like the low flow shower heads. Sure the GPM might make sense, but you stand there three times as long to just get rinsed.

Picked this up yesterday. Went with the Low profile/Long reach version over the Yellow Daytona pro because its lower, longer, has the step for quick raising to position, and can lift higher then all the others.
Plays well with both my lowered car and my truck.

couldnt justify the money with a working jack though so i spent $10 at home depot to make 2x10 ramps.

I bought a jack from them 1-2 yrs ago that looks exactly like that, but is dark silver and not daytona brand. Been very happy with it. Lifts my truck great, while my old jack barely got the tires off the ground at full lift(I'm not lifted, just +1 on tires). I've been very happy with it.

    Same.

I've tossed sets of sockets in the metal recycle bin because I was missing 1 socket. Easier to replace the whole set vs. looking at 1 odd ball socket that would absolutely drive me nuts!

I've got the HF Pittsburg version of this and it's great. Low enough to get under my 2011 M3 and lifts high enough for my '09 Taco.

The one that's low profile/long reach has the highest lift at 24-1/4"
But it's only like an inch and an 1/8. These go on sale for $169 but haven't seen that coupon in a while.

Bought the Hydraulic Wire Crimping Tool #66150 for crimping new lugs on the factory 2 ga. wires (I cut off the old terminals) while installing dual batteries. Plus running some new 4 ga between the batteries, chassis ground, and neg bussbars. Not as good as a professional ones with the hexagonal shaped crimp, but it works! $45 with a 20% coupon aint too bad!

Were they warrantying ratchets toward the end? I thought they were excluded? Only sockets, extensions, box end wrenches, and such? I could be very wrong though.

I went to Sears to replace a ratchet and they said they couldnt replace it (never had that before). Then i went to Ace and they replaced it no problem.

Ratchet exchange varies store to store, unlike the other hand tools, because there’s actually a person employed that rebuilds the ratchets that are brought in. They also fix store returns if they can, and put items that are fine back on the sales floor. They’re called PMTs, preventative maintenance technicians.

If a store doesn’t offer exchange (as a policy they’re not replacing warranty ratchets with brand new ones unless there is no choice), it’s probably because that position at the store isn’t filled or some other circumstance that prevents them from having ratchets on hand for exchange.

It costs them a penny to rebuild a ratchet, and most stores have thousands of rebuild kits. When a store closes, those get taken by any store that wants them.

Sears still warranties ratchets but it’s limited by what the store has available for exchange, which functionally means if I bring in a ratchet, they rebuild and clean mine and put it into exchange inventory. Joe Public comes in later and he exchanges his broken ratchet and gets my old rebuilt ratchet in trade, and his return fills the inventory where the trade ratchet was. So on and so forth.

It’s really easy to rebuild them, and rebuild kits are found online for $10-12
