Hey guys my 36K is creeping up and I'd like to get some of the TSB's taken care of. I do have the rear squeak so that would be one to have looked at as well as the leaf pack. Is there a thread with a running list of TSBs for various years? If not feel free to start a list here. Thanks.

dont be that guy that goes into the dealer with a list of "gimmie free bees" list of work. i hate it when customers do that especially if none of the symptoms/problems are there. if no signs of problems are there, repairs in some cases will not be made. expecially if u go in there with a laundry list cuz they know ur just trying to get free stuffs. im not saying thats wat ur doing but thats how its gonna look like -from the dealer point. u also have to take into account that the vehicle production date and VIN numbers are taken into account when attempting to perform the TSB. just because the vehicle is in the year production range doesnt necessarily mean that it qualifies for the TSB. also... Karma.

They say my truck is not eligible for the rear spring tsb even though its an 08, fyi I did not go in for that it was for something else and they said they checked my truck for tsbs and said that none apply for my truck.

Well I have some shimmy in the front. Gonna have it alligned by Toyota first to see if that does the trick.

I am planning on getting an AT Flippac and a better spring set in the back would hopefully allieviate any future problems.

I put back in my sleeping platform tonight and noticed it squeaking when I was in and out of the bed of the truck. I guess that squeak doesn't rate.

If the transmission needs a CPU flash then it needs it.

If someone can provide a list then great. I can look at it and see what applies. I don't plan to go and have a huge long list of stuff and say gimmie gimmie. Thanks for the assumption.

I posted this in the 'dealers who do the suspension tsp' thread. Putting it here as well. Anyone needing the TSB in SoCal, Melissa in the service department at Huntington Beach Toyota made my suspension TSB pain free and very fast. Truck does ride more firm and is higher. Hoping to level it out with some Camburg C/Os up front and a Flippac on the rear. Should be perfect.

I went out to look at the leaf pack and noticed "CHI" painted on the uppermost leaf. Looks like these replacements are made in China. No idea where the originals were made. I'll put pics up ASAP.

It's not getting something for free, when we paid close to $30k for the damn thing. What if 10k miles down the road, some of the "tsb parts" go bad? Dealers then don't fix their junk for free. If I was still under warranty, I would bring a novel full of tsb's for them to eat.

Couldn't agree more. There is a reason folks pay for a new car.

So today I get a call from the "portfolio manager" from the local dealership. They want to know if I would like to trade in my current Taco for a new one. They have a buyer who wants my truck. So I say what the hell lets go listen to the spiel. I get down there and a different dealer looks at my truck. Then they offer me 20k on the trade in. They do agree to the meet the USAA vehicle pricing of 28.6K. Basically the payments would work out to be more per month and extend the payment process another five years from now. I would also have to switch back the rear seats for the access cab from 08-09.

I sincerly don't think I'm gonna go for it but thought I would share the experience. There was a thread at one time about the bait/switch situation but I don't know where it is.
