Too many but also not enough mods
How long until Toyota puts the lights up for sale?

I've not been a fan of the down firing reflector LED lights. Toyota did the same thing on the OEM Lexus LED fogs and they were pretty underwhelming. At least you can upgrade the halogen lighting in the current 3rd Gen projector. It'll be interesting to see how these compare to the Morimoto projector based LED headlight assembly offerings.

I’m not sure how I feel about the headlights yet. They could be nice to have. I’m sure installing them on previous years won’t be possible or at the least won’t be easy. Probably won’t be cheap either.

Everything else announced seems pretty lackluster.

My 1st impression also. Not in a good way but curious on the performance of the projection of these new lights

That was painful to watch. I hate it when people don’t know shit about a product but try to act like it.

That's pretty sad. I was hoping for the "jeweled" projector LED lights that Honda has been using. Those things are bright AF.

These new lights will take getting used to. To me they still look “blind”.....like the eyes are missing the pupil.....kinda like Mr. Magoo. I love the styling of the original 3rd gen headlights. Other than their dimmish output, the lights and the Drl LED strips looked so great on 2016-2019. I’m not sure the new ones are better, or just different looking. Those nice LED corner strips on the original will be missed I think.

I don’t think it’s going to be up to $2000 to swap out for these led lights like it was to get the TRD Pro headlights just to have a black housing. I think the price was so high because they were exclusively for the TRD Pro. Now the TRD Pro headlights has the TRD Pro lettering lit up and the limited and the option on the OR and sport dont. I hoping to see what the tundra folks are paying for their factory led black housing headlights and you can buy the harness to make it plug n play from a couple of places. Here’s one on eBay 282BD006-6AF9-48BF-9592-4AE013A3A602.jpgF0E5E3B5-35AB-4005-BBCD-7DCB6588DD99.jpg

Like someone else stated I like the look of the 16-19 better because of the projector lens and the drl design. The new light looks like it has no eye and the drl reminds me too much of the oemassive. I’ll stick with my rx350 retro for sure. No replacement for true hid’s.
