I thought so too. Lol. If I got good enough with body work, I could potentially weld those holes shut and get them repainted to match. More work than it’s worth though.

Meh. Just get some front fenders from the 5 lug and make a flat bed for the back. Problem solved.

 

Funny you mentioned that. That’s actually the same tire/size I am thinking of buying. Which is the main reason I am considering swapping wheels.

With my meager lift, and no CMC (yet), I’m almost positive I’ll rub like hell with 285s on SCS wheels. My redneck math has me thinking the slightly positive offset and narrower profile of the 4Runner pro wheels wrapped in 285s won’t present as much rubbing. I could be completely wrong.

Needless to say, since I don’t actually need new tires, and that I still like the look of my current wheels, I haven’t pulled the trigger.

For the record though @rmepilot has first dibs if they do go up for sale/trade.

I have them and do like them even if Scotty doesn't. That said, they are a lot flimsier than I though they would be and could likely get ripped off by a big bush or rock getting underneath them. Have mean't to add some additional screw to secure them better to the wheel well. They still are not made as robust as I would like though.

lol shouldn't matter to anybody what I do or don't like on their truck! I love your truck, I would just not have made the same decisions, hence mine looking differently lol
