I was in Fred Meyer yesterday Issaquah about 9am for a loaf of bread and could not believe the lines at all the checkouts including the self checkout lines that went down the frozen food section.... WTF really.

Here on the east side, I decided to grab some groceries and water in case we had some runs here as well. Stocks were lower for sure.

Great to have the truck back! Got to grab a bolt to replace one I rounded off and reinstall the skids tomorrow.

Then I'll probably drive around and see if anyone needs pulled out.

Damn glad I won't have to be back at work till Monday night.

You all stay safe over there!

On another note, gonna have to replace my LCA bushings in the near future.
Figuring poly bushings with greasable bolts.
Does this seem like the way to go?

Sure it does. If you're that critical that you need constant, uninterrupted power, then you need to have a backup. It'd be really dumb to die because a bird fried itself on a transformer and took out power to your block for a few hours. Or the utilities company secured a section of the grid for maintenance not realizing that it was actually a bigger section than they thought. Those are my two most recent non-weather related power outages. One was only a few hours, the other was about half the day.

Think you misread what i wrote...(or i wrote it poorly :))

The average person should be able to go 2-3 days with no power/support. And if they cant they need to reevaluate their choices.....ie you dont need a fucking generator cause your power is out overnight. Those who have issues can freely go about having backup power and all that.

That was more what I was trying to convay

Perfect demonstration of the lack of personal preparedness.

Mine fit but when I air down they rub on the spindle gussets.

Might get a set of cables for the front and only run chains in he rear

I’m not experienced with chains, but I’ve been told chains up front aren’t that necessary.

Edit: I should say the potential damage vs. benefit isn’t that great
