This is how I have mine mounted at the moment. I just cut off the mounting tabs and folded the remaining piece and used double sided tape.

I did almost the exact same thing ... used a couple of zip ties to mount it in the same place, but zip tied to the lower bar. Here are some pics (a little blurry because it's dark in the garage), including one of the display. I wanted to be able to see the top of my license plate for reference when parking. I'm not 100% happy with this, and would prefer something more stealth. That's why I used zip ties, so I can try it out and also consider other options (also need to get rid of that white logo on the top of the camera). Something like @zi0n mentioned would be ideal!

Your POV I like..great reference point, your plate. I still would like to try another spot for a better view.

Ever consider putting the cam in the second O? I don’t have a pro grill so not sure how it’d look. If it needs to be centered then obviously not but if you wanted more hidden that may be as good aspot as any

Yup, the plate as reference point works well, but it also means the camera is pointing down more than I would like. Someone in another thread put his under the truck, which I may try, but I'm not sure if that'll give me the view I want when parking. I do like the slight difference in how you mounted yours - it's a little less visible than mine, so I'll give that a try too.

I did think about it, but my OCD-type need to have it centered won :)

    It’s this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018800TR2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_mRswCbJJ9EKYR
But I think this one that @c4inam2n used is exactly the same and costs a few $ less

The camera has a couple of wires that you use to set the configuration. If you cut one of the wires it shows the guide lines. If you cut the other it switches the view to rear view. Some cameras work like this, and others have a button that you use to set the config.

OP is not, but within this tread and a few others you do have some some options to choose from.

I just ordered the car-solutions.com product. If I get enough time, I'll take pictures while I install it and post here.

I ordered mine on 2/1, it came FEDEX Priority (cheapest way that I could see) and it was delivered on the 5th (from Hong Kong!). The 25 day shipping time WAS NOT listed on the website when I ordered. It may be that as it gains popularity, they sold out and are waiting on stock??? Installing this weekend. Good luck.

I chose FedEx shipping ($24.00)... was delivered in 3 days from ordering, signature required.

Still available, current shipping options below:

Install is pretty easy and straightforward. Nothing to cut or splice into. Remove your radio bezel, unbolt the radio, disconnect the corresponding plugs behind the HU and plug in the kit. Run the camera wiring through the firewire, reinstall the HU and then just mount the camera to your preference out front.
