    Im wondering if emissions will be worse or better with the turbo connected. Last time I ran with it disconnected and some denatured and passed. I was just thinking though wouldnt it be more efficient with the turbo hooked up. Whats your thoughts? Unhook it or keep the charge pipe hooked up for better emission?

    Apparently this was the same guy that had UPP Turbo build his turbo kit when it was still 1gr. I posted his dyno awhile back ...509hp/552tq On 10psi. I’m guesing his Motor must have blown lol

    Were it a stock 1GR, yup. That's ~100 more HP and ~100 more TQ, on 2 more psi, than mine, Toon's, and two other people's. Means they addes a decent amount of timing, and the 1GR only likes so much in stock form.

    I was gonna ask how much it was advanced since that is more tq and go than you had with 50% more boost :boom:

    Likely it's corrected numbers. UPP is in Colorado, so they usually have a 1.20 - 1.25+ Correction factor. I've tuned some cars at this shop before.

    Didn't think about that. Could very well be the case. The kits that I referenced, were all sea level.

    So far as I have seen, at least over 700whp and 700wtq. For the stock block above, the ring lands or rods will be the first to let go. Inherently weak, due to thin construction.
