Can't use 4600s with blocks. So yes, blocks on there own do not stiffen the ride but the replacement shocks will.

I installed a set of TOP1-T spacers today and they worked perfect to level my truck within a third of an inch. My new 31" BFGs look great with the extra space. Anyone wanting a little more room on 3rd gens without doing a full lift then these are the only spacers thin enough to do the job.

    Thanks!

Did you conclude that you should have gone 1.5” or do you think it’s level in person?

I’m looking at the same spacers, or fat bobs 1.5” kit (or 5100’s set at 1.55).

The concrete slab the truck is on in the pictures is a dedicated level slab for hooking up 5th wheels at a dealer. I put a level on the bed rails before/after and it's perfectly level now. I definitely think 1.5" or more would be to much unless you also added lift in the rear.

I don't as I had the suspension and wheels done at the same time. However, while I was researching, I jacked the front up one inch to see how it would look. It seemed to me that a full inch was a little to much but here are the before and after pictures:

Good excuse to do a 1 inch lift in the back now.

My 2019 tacoma trd is 1 1/2 once difference from the front 20 1/2 front and 22 rear hub to fender no matter where I park mine and measure . So I could do 1” spacer in the rear and 2 1/2 on the coil overs and should be level right and if it’s 1” lower in front then 1” rear and 2” front correct?

I measured a '17 OR DCSB 4x4, twice, on perfectly level ground and got the exact same 1.5" spread. Not sure why guys are saying its a 1" difference. Its not. I got 35" front, 36.5" rear from floor to fender.

A 2/1, 2.5/1.5, 3/2 etc will give you roughly .5" rake which is probably fine for those not overloading the bed on any given occasion. Visually it will look nearly level.

Maybe different years/lots have slightly different rakes depending on when or where they are built. Or maybe we are measuring our trucks in different weather temperatures or elevation which may effect the contraction/expansion of the metal in the suspension. Or we could have different air pressures in our tires. Or, or, or, or...

What I know is I spent a week measuring my truck (see pictures in this thread). I also measured all the new Tacoma's on my local dealers lot and they all had a 1 inch rake. After I raised my front end 1 inch, I put a level on the bed rail and it's perfectly level. However, I haven't measured every 3rd gen out there so I can't say every third gen has the same rake. Likewise, and with all due respect, please do not assume all my research and suspension work results are false based on the single measurement of a single truck. I'm sure we all know how to use a measuring tape and level so we are all probably correct. Either way, I agree that a 2/1 ratio lift kit will level out 3rd gens without risking a bro lean.

    all tore up already
You're at home depot. Buy something you need a truck for, put it in the bed and you will be level...

I’m sure most all trucks are a little different when they leave the assembly line but I think people watch these forums to see other owners that may have the same set up with the same measurements as there own truck so they can avoid doing a lot of wrong things to get the right result . Atleast that’s what I do and for me and my truck my measurements are different slightly so I watch for trucks set up like mine so I can see how they lifted there truck to get the least amount of problems .

Ok here is my question if you do a 2” front and 1” rear lift when factory is 1” lower than the rear front center hub is 21 to fender rear is 22 center hub to fender so if you do a 2/1 lift does that mean that you are maxed out at the recommended 2 inches of lift in the front even thou it only went up 1” past level

Are you changing out your shocks? If not, the front and rear OEM Bilstein shocks can only lift 1 inch to be maxed out. So, without upgrading the Bilstein shocks, all you can do is lift the front 1 inch and leave the rear alone. This will level the truck. You can lift the rear one inch as well but then you will have the same original rake.
