    Good to know. That brings up another thought about how much room there is at the header merge for the sensor. I will be running a j-bung on the downstream sensors so that probably limits me to keeping them in the ypipe anyway and just plugging the front bungs.

    Don’t have any but IPT was very helpful over the phone.

    I guess “HD” just signifies stiffer springs eh. Will probably still go with IPT so I don’t make a big giant mess. How much was the ratiotek?

    Yup. AEM, interfaces with the can system. So still good for OBD inspections. Except only plug n play with 05-08. Haltech is great, but does not interface with the CAN system on ours.

    Or possibly @OVTune, as you only are tuning the factory equipment, so it will always be good with the OBD inspections. Just have to weigh your overall needs.

    I wonder if ovtune could reprogram the ecu. If not I am sure finding an ecu shouldn’t be too difficult. I would have to get one that could be flashed to the trd tune as well. That way it will have expanded tables for optimum tuning. Probably a pipe dream but if I find one for sale for cheap enough I am probably stupid enough to buy it lol.

    I'd say ipt would be better. I would have went for the ipt vb but this is my daily ride. Down time isnt an option. I like my ratiotek upgrade. But for me too much is barely enough.

    I would hope that a VB replacement would not be any comparison to an Amazon special. WAT sold me on the concept that their entire VB had been reconfigured. I'll go take a picture of the contents of my ratiotek box.

    You may have waited too late to do the Ratiotek kit. It just depends on mileage out on the tranny as a whole. Mine started flaring at around 50K. I did the upgrade at about 65K, but I also let off on the gas everytime I upshift to 5th.

    I don't do that so much anymore, but it was a method I learned from my GTO to baby the clutches a little longer when I was having slippage from 3-4 shift with the 4L65e transmission. That huge piece of crap.
