The ADD on my 95 V6 5spd tacoma doesn't work in the cold, which is really a drag because that when I need it. I was eye balling a 97' 2.7l parts truck with manual hubs and j shift Tcase How extensive is the swap? I'm hoping to get away with just doing tcase, diff, and hubs. thoughts?

Your transfer case isn't already J-Shift?

If you want to go to Manual Hubs all you really need to do is swap out the steering knuckles + CV's, and swap the axle tube to the differential.

Saddly no, 95 has a few one off bits. The transfer case and I believe the whole ADD are nearly unique to that year. It has a push button that does the the whole shift into 4wd.

Consider switching to electronically actuated ADD if you’re worried about vacuum not working.

Is that just a drop in fit up?
