Is this the correct bulb for the Osram you are mentioning? I have the stock harness.

Yes. You can check out the product data sheet and see that it is an elevated wattage bulb. Max legal wattage in the EU is 75/68w for a 60/55w bulb. The Osram Hypers made a 75/70w version, I’m pretty sure they just fudged the numbers on those. Here is the spec sheet:

In the Seattle area snowpocalypse today, on my drive home i noticed many vehicles with OEM LED headlights were icing over. I ran my KC G4 amber fogs and the headlights on the way home to test icing performance once I got there. Not too surprisingly the fogs were completely frozen and the hot headlights were completely clear.

Think I might have mentioned my concerns over switchin from Halogen's to LED's just for that particular reason. I like the low amp draw of the LED's over Halogens but the object is light not heat & the lights no damn good if it can't project beyond the housing. Always a compromise somewhere.

It is why I am working on v2.0 of my foglight upgrade.

Took me 35min to make it 4 blocks, in what should be 3 minutes, to get from my office to 405.

If you have the Headlight Services Harness installed then I have the bulbs.
Unfortunately I totaled my truck between installing the harness and installing the bulbs.
So now I have 4 H4 Osram 100/90w bulbs for exchange for a PM to discuss PP value.

Lol, our kid had early release today because of the storm. I went out to warm up the truck. I was standing there like a dumb ass watching the snow melt off the headlights when the wife came out and asked me WTF I was doing. Lol, she told me I’m a dork and I was just trying to justify doing the upgrade.

Yup, looks exactly like my Tacoma with the KC's on the way back from Colorado about a month ago. Each time we stopped for gas, I cleaned off the fogs and my fiancé asked me what I was doing up there. "Keeping you safe my dear."

Very sorry to read of your automotive loss. Hope you weren't injured in the process.

PM sent - interested in the bulbs, if @H20man doesn't take them.

@crashnburn80 thanks for the excellent OP. I did the headlight conversion and am stoked with the results. It made a huge difference for my nighttime visibility. Thanks for your work.

Had a high beam headlight relay failure on the Rallylights harness on @White lightning boosted truck. The Rallylights harness uses Chinese Hella relays, whereas the Headlight Services harness uses Bosch European made relays. I had already swapped my Hella fog relay out to use the Bosch relay and still had the Hella laying around that we were able to swap in to get the high beams back. If using the Rallylights harness I would highly recommend swapping the higher quality relays preemptively. It is inexpensive and good insurance.

The recommended replacement is the Bosch 332019150 Relay, made in Portugal, as identified by @Norton. A conventionally/power switched truck takes 2 of these relays, separate high and low.

If running the Headlight Services harness, your harness already came with the high quality Bosch relays.

Videos are a hard thing to judge by, the camera used in that video has a low light mode which likely means that it is going to do some image processing/adjusting of the image in low light, which if that was used means that the images may not be truly comparable. Add that to the other automatic settings used in an autofocus camera like that and it is very challenging to have a decent side-by-side comparison. To really do that you need to have a DSLR and use fixed setting with manual focus, but event then light color can be misleading in a photo. All reasons why I like quantifiable measured numbers in addition to photos. The +100s should have a better high beam though, since the +130s have a blue coating over the low beam.

The price difference isnt enough to buy a coffee. Another fine example where buying quality components counts.

@crashnburn80 are the night breaker bulbs on Amazon below the ones I have? Or the newer style that's slightly yellowed? They are the German made variety ya?

Missing the link. But you are not running Nightbreakers. You’ve either got Osram 100/90w Superbrights or if you swapped in the new bulbs the Osram 85/80 All Seasons.
