    Hello,

Please point me in the right direction if a thread like this has already been posted.

I am looking into lifting my 2019 Tacoma and I am running into issues with lift sizes, tire sizes, wheel sizes, and fitment issues from different vendors of lifts.

I dont want a huge lift (might be part of the problem) but something like 3 inch front and maybe 1 or 2 rear.

I have seen lifts like these for people like rough country, ready lift, and LRT.

I have heard good things about all of the above mentioned but the people at rough country are saying you only can really fit a 31 with the lift.

That doesnt really make sense to me since I have a 31 or close to it from the factory.

I am looking to run 33s. I wont be doing serious offroading but occasional trails and mudding/snow wheeling.

Could someone point me in the right direction in terms of how I can fit bigger tires without going crazy on price or lift size?

I am new to these smaller trucks having HD Fords in the past.

    Thanks in advance!

You plan on keeping stock wheels or going aftermarket? Proper offset wheels will help 285s fit, but they still seem to rub a majority of the time.
Most recommend ome (old man emu) coils with bilstein 5100 shocks. Headstrong off-road is a great company from all the reviews on here. 888 or 887 coils. Some get by with stock uca’s but most go with aftermarket. You can search google for Tacoma with 888 coils and it’s almost better than the search on here.

Yea i have heard about the wheel fitment too.

I have wheels in mind that are aftermarket...16x8s with 0 offset and 4.5 backspacing.

    thanks for the reply.

    Like, so many.
The height isn’t the issue, it’s the width. To fit 285s, you’ll need to do the cab mount chop and pinch weld regardless of lift.

That is the best size for helping them fit. Still may get rub, but seems to vary truck to truck. Good luck man.

Not like the level and 35s fit on a super duty. Haha!
