Help!! Problem with my Xenon HIDs

whats with you kids these days, haha. gotta know how to talk to a lady man, cant be throwing ages out there, haha. I was summoned into this thread btw..

We cant drive ON the beach, unless we go about 2hrs to corolla.. But I will be more than happy to drive your truck, ive never driven a lifted truck!

 

if you have drl, then yes, it could affect your hid's. the bulbs run at reduced power so its not quite enough juice to fire them up. in fact, my old car i could not even wire up hid's with drl. it just didn't work. when you get your setup looked at, try to figure out how to disable them or to move them onto another circuit other than your headlights.

idk if you alrdy fixed the problem but it sounds like a bad ballast. I had the exact same problem stupid thing wouldnt turn on. Finally just put a new ballast and never had the problem again.

 

Eric make sure you let her drive your truck since shes never driven a lifted truck before. That way during the Vegas meet, if I "let" her drive mine, she will be more confident!!! Thanks for being the ginny pig brotha!!!!
