10-4 that can get old in a hurry.

 

I’m working. Been on a call and we’re making a 35 mile round trip to get fuel. 10 miles to go and we’re back.

 

Is that why I see ambulances way outside their areas? Or maybe patient transfer.

 

Probably pt transfers. Our county is 464 sq Miles and we cover it with 4 trucks. Fuel is in the center of the county. Last call was almost 15 miles to it. 10 from there to the fuel pumps and then 11 back to our station. We used to have a second diesel pump but some other dept managed to fuck that up for everyone. When I first started here the county fuel truck used to stop by the station every morning and too is off. He left and that went away too. Seems to me it’d be more economical to have a 200 gallon tank at each station. I guess delivery wise it wouldn’t be though.

 

Would be good for response times instead of you being mid county when your corner gets a call.

Ugh. Apparently I forgot to save my timecard when I left last night. Got submitted today while I was gone and the guy who tried to 'fix' it just filled the missing hours with vacation time... I can't change it cause it's already been approved. Is it really worth the trouble for 4 hours of vacation?

 

Nah, Take 8 hrs of sick time in the future and call it even.

 

I thought about calling the guy who changed it at 2330 but I don't have his personal phone number around. Lucky bastard.
