    Coming soon! 2029

Let's appreciate the fact that they still produce manuals in 2020!

I highly doubt it, I think the reason for the key is for proper use of the Clutch Cancel Switch.

Don't worry about it. It's natural to find more issues than the market mean in an enthusiast forum and those with problems are more likely to scream about it. Any first year vehicle is likely to have issues and I expect no less from the Ranger (first recall within a month already) and the Gladiator. The JL is still dealing with these pains as well. Once you get into year 3-4, most are going to be solid and I've only had minor issues with my 2018.

No matter how much an OEM drives a truck to test, there's nothing better to weed out issues than a couple hundred thousand users beating on the thing in all kinds of climates and conditions.

True. I love MT, although my wife isn’t happy about it.

I was just watching a YT video on the 2020 and noticed at the end when he's leaning over the box and talking that there is the cubby on the driver side again. So, are they bringing that back? Is it for some reason on ORs, which I believe is what he's looking at in the video, but not on the Sports like my 2019 is? Would be weird for them to take it out for 2019 and then just end up putting it back in the 2020s.

They took the A Pillar grab handle away for 2 or 3 years and brought it back for 10 years before taking it away again so it's possible the cubby could return.

Anyone have any ideas why Toyota doesn't throw a front locker in the Taco? The Colorado ZR2 and the new Jeep truck Rubicon will both have them now and they're similarly priced to the TRD Pro at least with price speculations for the jeep truck being 3K-3500 more than its JL equivalent.

They have front lockers on vehicles all over the world why not stateside

Does anyone know when the 2020 Tacoma will be available? I called two dealerships and they have no idea. I’ve been waiting for Apple CarPlay and hoping the new model would have a power seat. The new camera system looks great too. I’m planning on getting the TRD PRO with a manual transmission in either army green or black. I’ve test driven the 2019 in voodoo blue and really liked the Tacoma manual transmission.

The new MY comes out usually at the very end of summer/early fall. I ordered last July originally expecting a 2018 and it turned into a 2019, so I ended up with one of the first '19s, and that got built late August and arriving in September for me.

Why so much interest in a stock head unit with apple car player android auto?Aftermarket units cost so much less and are very easy to install.Like the grill on the Limited the best.

I’m on my fourth aftermarket unit on my current truck. I’ve tried different brands. Also, I doubt all the safety features and the new camera system would work with an aftermarket unit. Apple CarPlay is great to have.

The 3rd gens supply lots of functions through the head unit, like how long the lights stay on, which doors unlock when you grab the handle etc. Once you get rid of the stock head unit, you have to figure out other ways to adjust those functions. Also, I've never cared for how aftermarket head units look.

Yep, as others have said there are certain functions that you need the factory HU to be able to do, plus there's just the aesthetics of having the OEM look, fit, and finish.
