Morning all...

Had two in my house growing up. One was mounted on the wall and had about 20 feet of cord for the handset. Lol

 

Space Invaders and Asteroids was the shit! Speaking of old gaming systems... Earlier this week I came across my old Nintendo Virtual Boy that's been boxed away since the late 90's.

 

Lmao. One call you knew your bill was sky high. Although I liked having it mounted in my car.

 

Wowza! The economy in chili must be booming!

 

I had a 4Runner that came with a built in bag phone. The hand set was rather large and took up some of the passengers leg room

 

My grandparents had one mounted to the wall with an extra long cord on the handset. That damn cord would get all twisted up.

Atari? Shit I had Pong. No controllers, just a big plastic box with two dials in it to move the paddle up and down. The connection was two spade clips that you put under the screws where an external antenna would connect.

Phone was a party line. So you picked up and listened for a second to make sure nobody else was on the line before dialing. Did not have to dial the whole phone number if calling in town. Just the last 5 digits.

 

Luckily it only took a little under 1.5 hours. I’m getting quick.

Ha! With this new welder it’s much more power efficient so I didn’t trip the breaker a single time.
