Edit: I no longer need this info. I found an old thread on TW talking about the relay harness. My low beams fuse blew and I figured the harness would be needed, which is true. However, after using the XenonDepot 6500K HID kit I've decided the color is not for me. They're now posted in the marketplace if anyone is interested.

 

Thanks - they really look good. This is a really bright kit and tested brighter than many mentioned here so with that extra hyper yellow at anytime and the clean white to match our low beam HID it is a win-win have your cake and eat it too situation

I can second your post. I've been running these as well and they're awesome.

 

Anybody know what type of bulb the super weak cargo light is on a 2018 sport DCSB? I'd love to replace it with something that actually puts out some useful light.

Anyone else have their deAutoLED bulbs or any other brand randomly flicker while they are on? My deAutoLEd interior bulbs and license plate bulbs have started to randomly flicker. Not sure if I got a bad batch or what?

 

email Support@deAutoLED.com - they can look into batch and what you have. Everything is covered under their lifetime warranty but there should not be an issue.

Also there should be an extra - did you try that?

I did receive some extra bulbs but have not had time to try swapping them out yet. The bulbs were working fine for a couple of weeks after I installed them and just last week started flickering.

 

Yes, I had a few of the interior bulbs have issues flickering and/or some diodes on the flickering bulbs die altogether. Same issue with the initial set of license plate bulbs they sent me. They immediately shipped me plenty extra interior bulbs as well as a different type of bulb for the license plate (absent resistors at the base).

After a few bad bulbs in the interior, I haven’t had any issues for a couple weeks with the interior (map) lights.

The initial four license plate bulbs all had problems. But the new set of license plate bulbs have had no issues.

Yes they changed it all up and what is sent out - this helps with any higher voltage.

Hey fellas, I’m excited to have joined your forum. I finally got out of my F150 and got myself back into a new 2018 Tacoma Ltd and I couldn’t be happier. Over the last few months I’ve been reading up on led bulb upgrades but most of the links that have been posted in the last are to products that are currently unavailable. Lighting is the one thing I’d like to upgrade asap so if anyone can kindly direct me to a current thread that has led highlights, fog, tail and interior bulb replacement recommendations, I’d be forever grateful

 

Just a heads up any led you use as a headlight in the stock housing is going to suck on output as the projectors are designed for halogen bulbs. Alot of people find converting h9 bulbs to fit the h11 housings will give more output. Your best output for headlamps is going to be a retrofit of HID rx350 projectors. There's a dude in the classifieds that sells the retrofits as well as other custom stuff like blacked out sidemarkers and housings, etched lenses, paired with morimoto HIDs.

I have asked THREE times for a verification of my refund from XENON DEPOT on some led's that were said to work with my Subaru Outback. (They did not work because of the combo DRL's on the car) Maybe one should NOT order from them?
STILL NO VERIFICATION of the refund!
I hate to post this sort of a slam --maybe they will see it and contact me??
It is significant -- about $145.00

 

They just sent an email the other day apologizing to recent customers for slowed services due to their move from Canada to Atlanta, GA.

Hopefully your situation gets resolved. I’d recommend reaching out again. The email implied they’re settled in now.

 

Problem is that I sent them the lights back on 1/11/2019 --(that's nearly a month ago). No note back on their return/arrival or anything else. They could at least send a note saying they are sending a credit to my card co. I could care less how difficult their move was. For now -- again BE CAREFUL when buying from them, especially if you think you may need a refund on a mis-described item.

 

Do they do refunds? xenon depot???
