I am in for this, did the Allagash on my CRF. Those logging trucks are crazy had one pass me while I was holding 80mph. Roads are pretty freaking washboard and filled with potholes. Sign me up

:spy: Depends on dates, I’m in southern Maine, so I could meet in route, or possible camp further up and meet. Also depending on numbers, may be able to provide a place to camp for a night. As things get more defined and dates planned I can make a better decision.

Love Moosehead area, been to the bombers a few times, spend time up there every year.

I drove an 09 access cab stock on many of the roads up there, and I don’t drive slow. Last year I had my 17 sport pulling a trailer doing about 50 plus. Biggest concern is Logging trucks, and they own the road, figuratively and actually.

    I'm assuming you'd be fine.

100% not an age attack or anything. Goes for anyone doing trips in the woods. If you have medical needs or medicine that is apart of your daily life, write them down on a medical card so that if there is an emergency or considerations that need to be addressed, you have the best chance for success 40+ miles into the woods

For planning purposes consider Moxie falls, fairly easy hike to see a nice set of water falls, and a fun drive from there to Greenville. There is a dirt road way, and a trail way. I don’t remember the trail well, as I found it by accident while driving a Forrester with a Yota mini van in tow. We made about 30 minutes in and the mini van drive requested I turn them around, not sure why as it was just a bunch of giant rocks we were driving on. Wish I had photos, but never thought of it then.

Bring bug spray and coffee. You'll be just fine and it'd be a blast
