Gonna do my last tranny drain and fill this morning.

Then I'm going to finish up a bit of drywall and paint work around some windows where my wife asked me to remove some old curtain rods and brackets and replace them with a newer type.

Then heading down the road to a buddy's house to help him pull the engine out of his '93 RX-7 Twin Turbo. He order a new JDM OE short block for it a few weeks ago. I don't know much about 13b engines. He does though. But I'll be wrenchin'. That's all that matters.

Sitting in tbe toyota lobby right now, jacking all their granola bars like

On a promising note though, last time I was here for the same problem, the service rep told me some shit like "your truck is operating the way it's supposed to" and blamed the gear hunting on my lift kit and tires, which is bs because it was gear hunting on the interstate the day I drove it off the lot.

However, now she same rep told me "I dont know what they were thinking" as I was re-explaining it to her, which leads me to believe that she'd seen this a few more times since I was last there, and changed her reaction a little.

I love this truck, I hope they can fix that shit today!

Oh well. I'll just inflate the tires to 40psi before long trips and keep that bitch in S5. Not a HUGE deal, just slightly annoying.

 

I’ll be driving my son around all afternoon. Solo competitions from 2-5, then the musical at 5:15 on the other side of town. He should be done around 9:30 tonight. No beer for me today. :-/
