Yhea, really sucks.

Dont get wrong it's fun and I like getting up early on a warm summers and riding the Harley down PCH when no one is in the road.

But I feel as if the dirt is where I belong......for now.
This was our set up 1 year at Pismo state beach
Very small spot but fun!

I grew up riding dirtbikes my real first love but no where to ride anymore new jersey literally built houses on every piece of land. New jersey has turned into nyc

 

Well that sucks in that way I guess
I have to drive 1.5hrs at least to go ride unless going to a track. I like both.
But that's still an hour and some change depending on fast you drive.

So I feel yhea there.
If you had a bike how far would you have to drive to ride some trails?

 

It's all good. I actually have been riding longer then him since I had dirt experience. But he was a monster on the road. He was very good rider. Lady just decided to run the light that killed him.

Normally if I do ride dirt. Me and my boy will drive down to West Virginia. Buddy got some property down there. So we would have to make it a weekend trip

 

Lol no that's some dumb shit I'd do. One of my friends asked me the other day r u scared to ride since the last time I crashed. My other said that mf crashes all the time. Rider error but when I ride I ride hard. I got some clumsiness in me

I'll tell you what that PCH looks like it would be an awesome time to ride down.

 

Pismo is coo. It's a beach up north about 9 hrs towing the trailer. Just super small!

That place is epic! Been a few times.
It's about a 8 hr drive from me.
Really wish it was closer.

 

I need to come out to Cali haven't been there in over 10yrs.

 

i want to ride in the dunes so bad. pismo looks badass. i love riding dirt but havent done it enough. single track or mx. closest mx is a hour, single track is 3 hours, supermoto fun is 5 hours away.

id drive pretty far to ride, ha. ive driven 10 hours to go race in wisconsin

 

Nice bike. Sorry about your pops. I have my dad’s bike too. Working on it to be more of a cafe scrambler.

As far as scary drivers, you do what you can to avoid the crash. Ride conservitave and always be aware but you can’t avoid it forever. I was hit back in 2012. Broke some bones lost some skin, but was able to more or less walk away from it. My Uncle was in an accident and in a coma for a week and that’s why my dad stopped riding.

It’s a risk we all assume whenever we throw a leg over the saddle.

 

I have a street bob now the overall seating position and reach are a lot more comfortable, but I prefer the seat on my old nightster. I always felt too tall for the sporty but man it was fun to ride.

 

PCH very nice.
When not crowded. Tourist and asshate galore sometime in certain sections.

I'm sure there is a hwy there....hopefully, that goes along the coast that is good to ride.
