 Hummm, want a partner Mike! I can see it now, don't take the chance of getting shot while hunting when using white TP, use our Fluorescent Orange TP and be safe!
And for archery hunters we could also offer a camo version!

We had a few days of letting the wood stove simmer very lightly. The embers were enough to make it too hot to sleep a few nights ago. I actually threw off the down comforter.
The pond in the yard had the frogs awake and squawking. Damn, they can be loud. I walk out, they dive. One night I walked out with a flashlight aimed at the pond. At least 10 sets of eyes flashing back at me. A pair were too busy to look. The rest were wondering what the heck the light was. I got within a few feet and could watch them. Really cool.

    Now, back to normal cold.
Wood stove going, the pond is quiet. Next we will find a huge batch of eggs in the pond that will freeze. A use for the 5 gallon bucket, throw them into the garden as fertilizer.

Winter. We need snow. Duane, can you send some, please?

Just a word of advise. What you said is triangulating information. You only make yourself look bad when you do this. If you look at the news in todays world so much of the so called news is triangulated information. Is it any wonder that news sources leave a lot to be desired.

I digress so getting back to business, Ken are you going anywhere this winter to escape the cold? It turned chilly in DC last night.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Cold and windy here today also Mark.

 Been that way for a while now.

:eek::eek: Not Ring Dings too? Is there no justice.

For a bunch of old farts we are observant. When is a gallon of fuel not a gallon? When you buy a gallon can of pre mix from a big box store.

I'll get some boxed right up.
Knocked some off my rooves so the eaves weren't loaded too much, they are rated at least 80 lbs.

I want to get out soon, need to have it stop snowing as where I want to make a short drive to is steep coming down and can be icy. Drop off into trees on one side. Good test for the new tent if some snow o/n.

Worked with a guy in the 80's from Minnesota and he said he would not go into the woods during deer season without hunter orange t.p.

He talked bad about public land hunters popping a shot at anything brown or white moving in the woods.

Oh darn, there went my shark tank idea, they probably make camo also! Only problem with camo TP is if you step in something soft it may not be mud!

    Sure does Carl.

But on a different topic, a small package of bio degradable baby wipes is more compact than a roll of TP and easier to store.

Too late. They already have both.

I see that had already been said. Should have read the whole tread before posting.

Hi Tom, after 6 months of health issues with the wife then cataract and mohs surgery for myself, we decided to head back to Bali again this year. After seeing the cold and snow you folks were getting, I didnt want to say anything about the upper 80's we have here. Getting away from it all is nice.

Sorry about the health issues. My wife goes in for cataract surgery on Monday the 18th of February. Then in another 2 weeks she has retina surgery on the same eye.

We are redoing the living room this winter but I have to wait till after the retina surgery to get started. I have started to purchase items as they go on sale or a discount. I have my fingers crossed that the Sony XBR65A9F tv will be on sale from an authorized dealer this Presidents Day sale. Going out furniture shopping this coming Friday.

Sending good thoughts on all the surgeries. I've been "enjoying" a root canal process - 3 sessions and now one more scheduled to put in the permanent filling. Joy.

Lynn wanted to re-do our pantry area. We didn't put in cabinets when we built - bought metal shelves instead. After 14 years, it was time to do it right. We purchased quartersawn oak cabinets that match the rest of the cabinetry in our house. Cabinets are now installed and the installer was here on Friday to template the countertop - will be the same as we have in our kitchen, etc.

Thanks Carl we will. No snow here to contend with just the possibility of earthquakes, eruptions and tsunamis:annoyed:

Cataract surgery was easy, but pray the wife does good woth the retina surgery. A friend had it and he had to keep his head down in his lap most of the time.

Root canal:facepalm:best of luck. Hated getting mine done but dentist wouldnt pull the tooth.

The pantry looks amazing:thumbsup:. Lynn happy with it?
