That escalated quickly. I need some of that action in my life...or at least the time to pay @marinemonkey a visit.

This probably isn’t new, but I just noticed it for first time at the store today. Pretty damn good if I say so myself.

Does anyone know the size and thread pitch of the bolt that holds the rear brake line hanger onto the rear overload leaf?

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I am gonna say 295s. I love these jammers.

    33s

Believe I'm going to 295s for the most height possible

a lot of bad ass stuff
take in mind wider tires also equal more weight, that must turn.
to reduce power loss, have you consider a tall 255?
After seeing how much power I loss with my 2nd gen when I went to 285's. I believe I will be exploring the 255 route for my wife's 4runner when that time comes.

This is also a great option, and many 255 BFGs KM tires can be found on CL from Rubicon take offs.
I ran 3 sets of those back to back on my ‘03 runner. Now I had a v8 so Power was not my concern but, I did wheel it and they proved to be a good tire and size.

Just to play the devils advocate, skinny doesn’t always mean light. Most all 255s can only be had in E load (10 ply). Yes they have a smaller contact patch than a 285, but you can get a sub 50# 285. You likely won’t find many 255s under 55#.

I know how the 33s are, had pretty much 295s but in a 18" before

Just swapped to 275/70s for better dd ability driving to Greenville every week. Now that I've got the 3rd gen, 1st gen runs around Ga. I'm tired of the small and skinny tires.20180116_103526-01.jpg

I know it is a long shot but does anyone have 35/1250/17 mud terrain that wants to step down to 285/70/17?

My go-to from Sweetwater since it came out. So glad they are selling 12 pack cans now.
