You don't know shit MPG yet Mr lifted S runner. Even the modern 2018/2019 200 series gets 13mpg combined haha, same with my 80 series. I can almost get 14 if I'm super easy on the pedal on the hwy. These things weigh two fuckloads

Just be aware as they get older they get more demanding to keep on the road compared to the Taco. They're a bigger more intricate vehicle. Id read the 100series forums on mud and see what they have to say about common maintenance estimated. I think the yearly estimate for an 80 series is right around $1200-1450 if you don't have to rebuild the front axle that year.

Then you have two yearly upkeep vehicles. BTW those estimates usually don't cover obvious consumables like tires, which are also fucking expensive for the cruisers in their OEM sizes

I dont have to pay for things like utility bills and rent for the next few years so im not super worried. When it gets time to move out ill make the decision if two trucks is worth it

I suppose that's a nice position to be in. No better time to save money for a down payment on something more important though, you'll never be able to put away money this easy again.

This is true. And also a mistake I made by buying a bunch of stupid cool shit instead of saving up for important shit...
