That’s a pretty good idea, the wifey and I went every weekend during the gov shutdown and picked up trash and changed out trash bags at LBL. They were asking for volunteers. There’s still a lot of garbage strewn all over the place out there and if everyone did a truck bed full or took a solid hour of trash pick up it would be very beneficial too!!

 

Seeing as this will be my first meetup, my opinion may not count but these are the best ideas I've seen.

 

Basically have a time where everyone splits up in groups of 3 or 4 from camp and find places that need trash pick up

 

Opposite of the f*@$tards that damaged Joshua Tree.

 

That would be good too! There’s a lot out there especially the non marked camping sites at the end of all your roads

Too lazy to look for Kurt’s reply, but yea. I’ll give 10-20 to donate to the park. Figure we can put a good sized pot together and donate it in the name of tacomaworld or “local off-roaders” or some shit.

A sticker would be cool too though. Anyone’s wife make stickers or anything?

It’s open primitive camping. There’s a toilet, but nothing else. There’s also a $7 camping permit that you can buy at the welcome center or online. You can find the link and info in the first post.

I plan on getting there really early and I’m going to seed all over Neville bay! Watch out where you step. I plan on putting a bunch down by the kitchen area to build up a good carpet of grass so it’s not a mud fest for next year.
