I know T.J. was upset but he got smoked. At best he would have lasted another 10 or so seconds - it wasn’t his night and it happens. I was also for Henry but didn’t expect that, not so early in his MMA career. Wow, very impressive to do what he has done the last few fights.

    T.j gets dropped alot..recovers alot..
    Look a Cody fight...
Maybe maybe not...that's why the ref should NOT stop fight before it is over..
If t.j is able to jump up and argue...immediately...to me.. that's too early.

Anyone watch postfight Henry (doing it for the whole decision "tj is for himself"
Then post fight interview he is talking legacy fights at 135 (so much for caring about the 125ers..) then he says some crazy shit about
Being up there with stipe and dco_O:rofl:
He was humble.. until he wasnt..

    Sorry rant over.

TJ had no idea where he was and wasn't even looking in Henry's direction while he was getting hit. He didn't even have any resemblance of a grip for a single until the fight was already over and Henry was walking away. I wanted him to win too, but it was completely justified. Can't get blasted and dropped multiple times without defending yourself and expect anything else.

Cody looked 'fine' after the stoppage in the 2nd fight too, but nobody argues about that one.

I think the UFC should start having a back up fighter ready to fight as a replacement. At least for the Main & Co main event. Let all 3 fighters know 6 - 8 weeks ahead of time so they can all be prepared. That may sound a bit unreasonable but something needs to be done. This happens way too often. In this case if the Camp is out then make the backup fight an interim belt fight guaranteeing a match up with the champion when they return. Thoughts?

The backup fighters would have to be compensated for the cost of their fight camps and the weight cutting and travel expenses, etc. in theory it makes perfect sense but ufc ain’t about to fork over the coin to have some backups ready to roll

I was just thinking the same about the $...
I say even Pay the backup fighter. Say 33% even if they don't fight. That way they r not wasting their time doing a camp and weight cut. If they don't fight then guarantee them a fight relatively soon after.

I think they would recoup the money by saving the card. I was going to buy this one but not now. If they had a decent backup fighter for KG I still would.

Yeah something like that would be the only way they could make something like this work. They should do something though cause guys would be raising there hands for the back up slot for a shot at the title. Pull outs are just the nature of the game so if they could work it out it would be smart but it all comes down to them dolla dolla bills

dolla dolla bills that UFC is trying to attempt not to splurge on fighters. although, ill be honest, i do not know how ppv calculations are made for the main cards. do everyone in the main card get ppv? or just co main and main event?

Generally just the main & Co-main get PPV $ and its not a lot. Also depends on the fighter and what is written in their contracts.
