Thanks going for a stock restore with some modern tech. Mostly rust prevention and rebuilding the engine and trans.

 

When the money allows it. Lol Hopefully like the day it left the factory. Original engine and trans at 295k miles. With exceptions of the starter and alternator. Still drives smooth and shifts smoothly. The guy I bought it from took really good care of it.

Info isn't provided, but I leave in an area where's it's super foggy, so they are only used when needed. I haven't been beamed or cursed at when in use, but I also try to be considerate of other drivers.

Don't be knockin the silicone wedding rings. Been rockin those, or homemade versions, since I bought mine 3 years ago.

 

Used the stock hold down on mine. Not a perfect fit but is snug and safe.

. Thanks for your response. I just tried installing the X2 AGM 27F battery but found the fixed side is 1” too short. I grinded off the fixed one which is 6” and will look for an adjustable one that is 7”.

 

Got my 30k service and after jumping through a few hoops finally got the TSB for the transmission. Damn dealership wouldn’t update it the last couple times I’ve gone because I told them I needed it. I guess it was necessary for them to come to the idea on their own in order for them to do it. SMH.

 

In that case a rolled up condom may work depending on the locker room you are in.
