Yeah, it's blowing pretty good down low. It's surprising how sharp the cutoff is. I'm just barely outside of the outflow and it's nice here. Cold, but not much wind and no snow.

Damn if I'm not trapped in the house! Near got stuck returning after an errand run (including gun store).
Road going to my neighborhood hasn't been plowed to date and had two foot deep drifts and multiple stuck Audi's and other non-equipped vehicles. Would have been better if I had not stopped to push a Q5 out that was blocking most of the road. He attempted to turn around when he realized he would not make it up the hill. Took me some effort to get started and up the hill myself! ST Maxx's are looking a little worn.
So what to do when locked in the house? Build one of the most unreasonably controversial firearms in the world!
First AR build. Better than Legos or Ikea! Having done this on the living room floor, I can see where the bench vise and adapter would be very helpful.

That's the probably the only firearm pic you will see me post online!

Got bored so we decided to drink wine which led to weaponizing snowballs. Thinking of making a trebuchet.
Screenshot cuz video is too drunk to attach.

    We call it

Jai Alai launchers work great too! Lacrosse bats not so well. Thinking of trying tennis ball cannon.
Trebuchet has to wait till tomorrow cuz we couldn’t figure out which end of the drill goes into the chuck.
    Safety 1st!

I drove the kids to go sledding in the neighborhood park. Mostly just so I could get the truck out.

Wow that is insane.....9C64E9AB-DF7D-4654-8833-D9DF320281BD.jpgit’s unfortunate for me that a UTV, knee board, and snow board ended with a hurt shoulder. Can barely lift my arm. This is also the one time I wish I had an automatic, it was a long drive home

Due to my garage being almost as cold as the outside, I still haven't reinstalled the skid plates.
Bad thing, I started to think that those might make an excellent sled for the road that accesses my neighborhood!:der: Damn whiskey!

Actually, I blame @twalchlii1 for planting the idea of winter storm shit-nanigans!

We're all going to die. But in the meantime, We got snacks at the grocery outlet and went sledding today. I had to break out the emergency whiskey. We're down to our last handle of Jim Beam . Still have vodka, gin, beer, wine, and Kraft Mac and cheese. The wife's Justin Timberlake concert was cancelled. Internet is still working. God help us all.

Woodland Zoo parking lots are definitely not the place to go for donuts. Or drifting. Fred Meyer neither. Nope...

What's the problem? We have more snowmobiles and side by sides on the roads here than licensed vehicles. Even saw some people with snow shoes today.

We are up to about 10" and the wife and I did absolutely nothing today. Wait strike that, I watched the neighbor shovel his driveway.
