This happened a few days ago. I bought the truck last weekend. The weather in KC has been abysmal! I wasn't even in the truck when it happened. I was in a fast food restaurant, whose parking lot was nearly covered in ice and somebody slid into her.

After dealing with his insurance company for the past couple of days, I have her scheduled to go into the shop on Monday. Here's to a quick recovery!

Is that a Dodge Ram? If so would be ironic, don’t ya think?

Best of luck with getting her fixed up.

Your profile says your truck is Magnetic Gray, but it's actually Silver Streak Mica.

Just an accident and could have easily been you behind the wheel in that icy situation. Consider yourself lucky because if it was a dry condition, it likely would've been a hit and run with your insurance footing the costs. Hope the repair goes smoothly.

While your truck is in the shop would be a good time to get that Carmax decal off the tailgate...I always have those removed before I take delivery on a vehicle or I don’t sign for it...I hate giving free advertising after I just got screwed.

Welcome to TW. Sorry that happened to you.

I was raised and lice in New England. One aspect of surviving abysmal weather is defensive driving AND parking. Esp. in high traffic areas. I always find a place that hopefully reduces the chance of being hit.

Good luck w the repairs. Hope they’re unnoticeable. Keep the records of what was done and for when you sell...
