In my possibly biased opinion, the 885s will be fine for the slimline with no winch. I had them on with a full steel bumper and a winch and I still had 2" of lift. I rode with them for a while before changing to 886s. I think the 886s are gonna be too tall with just the slimline. I'm sitting at just under 3" of lift with 220lbs of weight in the front with 886s.

Probably. Those are also rated for 230+ lbs on the front. Ultimately on 4runners, they provide the same lift height as the 886s. The 886s just dont bounce as much as the 887s and ride better with the heavy weight. Wheelers rates the 887s for 2.5-3" of lift with 230+ lbs.

Gotcha. I’ll stick with 885s with a streamline. When I get my winch and skids later on I’ll just throw on some 886s. Think the streamlines weigh about 70ish lbs.

The SSO weighs 55-60 lbs. I'm sure some of the others probably weigh a tad more. I would do some research and see what other people are running with slimline bumpers. I think the 886s will be too stiff for just the slimline, so if you did want more height, then the 887s would be better than the 886s. But I'm pretty sure the 885s will be the only ones you wont have to buy ucas with.

Yeah I’ll jump on the 4Runner sites and see wht I see what people are running. Dont want ucas to save money so whatever keeps me from having to upgrade I’ll ultimately go with.

As far as bumper I will likely go SOS streamline for the tax sale so I can save on shipping and pick it up.

    Yes, it's 4 am. Don't judge me.

Message randy about some 886s he found for 100 bucks. That way you can have them already on hand if the 885s aren't enough.

I dont think he has bought the 885s. If Rand found some 886s @ $100 then he needs to jump on them & quick!

PS it is 6am on a Sunday. I wont judge

Well he is getting the 885s from randy's "domestic partner" so maybe he can package the deal.

Why are you up so early??

Why not just buy the 886s only?

Or has the deal been made on the 885s to where he couldnt back out?
