I got a new 2019 Tacoma OR short bed 4x4 for $34995 which was great for the Orlando area. No long haggling no badgering or even drawn out discussion I was in the dealer a grand total of 2 hours with the wife in tow.

    -Magnetic grey, tech package
-$300 bed step (while cool, prefer not to have it)
    -predator tube step

-all weather mats and door stripping
    -wheel locks

    $33,500 and
    $36,986 OTD

Yea that’s what I thought. They have close to $2500 in add ons

What do you think would be a decent price? I offered $35,800 OTD and they wouldn’t do it.

I think I understand now. The dealers around here mix the packages with general options and confuse the crap out of me instead of stating what the separate package is: Premium, Technology etc. I've been out of the market for 10 years and becoming an old fart. This would be my fourth toyota truck. ADVERTISE WHAT IT IS! Drove a V6 SR5 yesterday and loved it but want the sport. Truck is solid and screams when it has to. Noticed the shifting at 35 -40 and mentioned it to salesman and he would not talk about it and basically didn't talk at all. Took a ranger out and it seemed cheap- really disappointing. Just my opinion - was not impressed. Thanks for the price Grunt-0302. Sure seems like a great price to me.

Yeah, I've found the same thing about Orlando dealerships--Toyota especially. The last 6 new vehicles that either my friends or family members have purchased have been in Tampa. This includes my 2013 Tacoma. I must have timed it wrong and they've all made their quotas for the month....

That’s the price you can pay for a TRD Offroad 4x4. It should be at least 2k cheaper then that or move on.

Go to freeman Toyota’s website and find a similar truck, request a quote and use their super low price against your local dealer.

It’s really pretty simple. If you want a sport then the only packages are Tech which is sonar parking and BSM and premium which is 3k for leather, jbl soubd, dual climate control and sunroof. Everything else like steps, protection etc are add ons.

Bought on Feb 10 2019 in Rock Hill,SC. TRD Off-Road 4x4 Double Cab with Premium and Tech and some extras and maintenance in Cement color. Sticker was $43,545 with everything added got to $38,473 then I added 6 year platinum warranty, paint and dent, gap insurance finished at $42,318 and got 3.49% rate.

Had to dealer locate the truck with what I wanted from Texas.

Think I did pretty good for my area. All the other deals in Charlotte,NC were $3000 more for the same truck using same vin.

Just got the same vehicle (different color)last night, but across the border in Matthews, NC. Sticker was $39,900, pulled them down to $37,000, but I wish I pushed back on dealer fees, etc. Out the door, it was $40,100.

We might’ve gotten had, my friend.

My sticker was $43,545 with extras. So I was $3,500 more to start before the warranties and extras I added . I started at Scott Clark and saved over $3,000 going to Rock Hill final was $38,473 (not including warranty, gap, paint and dent).

Here was what Scott Clark was offering me. Over $3,000 less in Rock Hill.

Still happy! Hope you enjoy your truck!

That’s not sticker price. That’s the dealers BS price. Where is Toyota’s price with MSRP?
