    Bleh. Morning.
Truck needs a tow back to Toyota tomorrow.
Same issue. Starts, runs for 2 secds, quits.
Cleaning the TB had nothing to do with the issue.
    So....twice it's left me stranded.

No, it quits before I can get under the hood.
If I try to give it gas before it dies, it just coughs and backfires.

The 2nd time when I picked it up from the dealer, it started right up, no issues.
Tried to drive it around for a while since they supposedly cleaned the TB and I wanted the ecu to relearn and adjust.

Parked it, drive the jeep for a few days because it was super nice last week.

Got back in it yesterday to run a few errands and it acts the exact same way.

I meant from inside the vehicle trying to keep it at a steady RPM around 1500 or so. Hmmm did they do anything with the MAF?

    A few bolts are different.
Upstate folks, will be planning to drive hurricane creek to max patch tomorrow. Haven’t driven it before but looks easily mapped. Anyone want to tag along?

I do not. But I did have a cel on when I took it in the 1st time last Fri. Which is when all this started.
Oil change, tire rotation and the new battery.
When I picked it up the cel was gone and hadn't returned.NNot sure if they just cleared it or fixed it.

I had a cel on for several years that was an a/f sensor near the cat. They put a new one in when I threw a bunch of money at it.
Cel was cleared and came back on 2 weeks later.
Took it back in, they read it and said it was an evap issue. Never fixed that one and just left it on.

Somehow i think this is all related to the battery change. The truck ran tits before they replaced the battery.

Resulting in the ecu having to relearn a/f ratios and micro managing electronics.

Look at the MAF and see if it's nasty again. I think you are right about the battery deal. With Chryslers you can keep them running for a bit by running them at 1500 rpm or so until they will idle then you gotta drive them. But it seems like yours should of relearned by now since you drove it a bit and let it run.

Probably right. I mean I didn't drive it 100 miles. Just drove it out to recycle and parked it. Both times.

I'll go mess with it after bit. Check the maf and atleast try and get it to run so I can go drive it for a while.

I think I posted this before. This is the 1st time I got it back after the battery change, oil change.

And it's doing the exact same thing now.

Yeah usually a 5-10 mile drive will get chryslers and others at least to the point of starting up and idling and such until it goes through all the relearn process. I am using Chrysler as the example because they are usually the most fussy about that stuff.

To me it seems like a fuel pressure issue.
    No real clue though.

Just odd that when I picked it up both times from Toyota, it started and ran perfect.
But decides to shit the bed in my driveway.

I'd be pissed if it happened while I was up in the mountains or an hour away from home.

Not sure what I am. Annoyed, I guess.

I would be highly irritated, pissed, annoyed, and laughable that it's so ironic it only does it at home and no where else.

Careful up in hurricane creek. There were a couple owners that called LEO because people were driving on private property.
    Mainly around the mud hole.

I'll see if I can find the link.

o_O Are you sure that wasn't Richland Rd.? Great if it is Hurricane Creek this goes to my whole statement that big groups going and assholes that venture off the road onto private property ruin it for everyone.
