I test drove a 4 cyl XSE about a year ago. It had good pep. If I would have kept the Corvette I would be pleased with the 4 cyl, but since we got rid of the Corvette the only clear choice was to replace it with the XSE V6. Yes, the V6 does quite well. I am still very impressed. It makes every drive fun.

I really like red vehicles. Our 13 Tacoma is Barcelona Red, we've had a 2008 RAV4 and a 2016 RAV4 that were also Barcelona Red. Currently my wife drives a 2017 Black Currant Metallic RAV4. If the Camry would have been available in Black Currant that would have been an even harder decision.

I totally understand, our Grand Sport was Black. It was a bitch to keep clean, but ohhhh when it was:
    IMG_0611.jpg

The Camry came down to Windchill Pearl w/ Cockpit Red Interior and Super Sonic Red with Black Interior. The local dealer had the Super Sonic Red on the lot and the nearest Wind Chill Pearl was +400 miles away.

Installed jba uca's and moved up a notch on my 6112's yesterday. Just dropped it off for alignment so I'll see how it feels after.

Super busy lately. My truck hasn't been getting much love other than the usual detail/maint.

    5 tire rotation Friday

How was the ride at 3rd clip? Did you already do the ECGS bushing? Any diff drop?

I’m on the first clip, but think the truck could go up 1 or 2 for larger tires.

Today’s project, replace my broken ABS harness, and simultaneously extend it 4”-5”. First I installed my new harness and went for a test drive to make sure it worked, and it did.

Took it back off and went inside and used some CAT5 cable to extend it. Soldered and heatshrunk, and some Chinese finger trap on it. Looks damn good if I say so myself.

Reason I did this is while up on the 2 post lift (where both sides are able to droop) it gets tight. I wanted the peace of mind for when the 12” shocks go on.

Later this week I’ll make a drop bracket for my parking brake line. At full droop it’s tight, so it’ll only get tighter with 12” shocks. Just a simple piece of steel to lower it 1.5” to help take the strain off it.

Not too bad! I made a quick thread going step-by-step through the build (link below), in case someone wanted to try something similar. It's not as clean as I would like, so I'll probably make a version 2.0 eventually. I really wish I had access to a 3D printer to make the tolerances much smaller and a tighter fit. However, it works well and still looks decent, the phone stays charged and doesn't slide around at all! So overall, I give it a 10/10 for functionality, and like a 6-7/10 for aesthetics.

Yeah, just gotta find some SCS with 3.5” BS now. I ran into the dreaded VSC and ABS code after. I can’t get it to reset. What a pain trying to short out those pins with old eyes.
