Just finished wiring my winch and spooling the line :D
For those who go with a Warn winch with synthetic line, I'd recommend adding the line and doing an initial spool BEFORE buttoning it all up. It was a PITA getting the line through the drum and inserting the "key" with it all together :frusty:

Thanks man,I totally agree with what you said too.I got a smittybilt synthetic set up and I actually went ahead and mounted it to the drum before mounting. I noticed that even tho there's plenty of room for access to the winch where needed(clutch and remote hook up) there was no way if get that line screwed into the drum after mounting. If anyone has any questions about installation hit me up. I thought about doing a detailed write up but the pdf that he sends is sufficient. The hardest part was getting that fan crash bar off after it was unbolted. Mine did not want to let go lol.

I keep forgetting to post some of my bumper install pics... went back in and added the condenser spacer and put some BHLM headlights on, too.
Here's the stripped down version..
    20190403_122932.jpg

Here's the mounting holes... I added a few washers since the holes were pretty big... probably not needed.
    20190403_144144.jpg 20190403_145153.jpg

These parts, plus the other plastic that was removed, weighed about 17 pounds total....
The SOS streamline bumper weighed a little over 62 pounds (no hoop and bedliner)
    20190403_153150.jpg

Finished product, including BHLM. Buttoned everything up and packed all the electrical connectors I could reach with dielectric grease.
    20190403_151202.jpg 20190403_151157.jpg 20190403_150927.jpg

Easy install and excellent quality product!
The Line-X was very, very high quality, too.

All I need to do now is find some good D ring shackles that will fit... any advice on that is appreciated.

Good to see an SSO bumper without a bull bar. They seem to be rare. Definitely stick out less from the bumper than the ones with the bar. Looks good!

Yeah, the bar reminds me of the 90's craze when people were putting all these bars over everything on their trucks and SUV's... mostly in chrome.

Thanks for the pictures and posts everyone. This is my favorite bumper so far, but I'm wondering if the aluminum version would support a small winch? Or bad idea?

Many people winch with aluminum bumpers. I ran a Smitty bilt 10 on my aluminum. And with all due respect I don't you would be wheeling the truck as hard as I did.

When you ordered did you do powder and line X or just Line X? How was the gap once you made the cut in those top corners was there a trick to get it close to follow the lines of the SOS? What style winch will you be installing? It looks great.

Smitty bilt. Will fit perfectly. I recommend that to everyone. Best bang for the buck.
