I thought t-case and front diff got

I have not done the wiring yet as I'm deciding on a switch, but I spent time researching the Service Manual Wiring Diagram in order to PROPERLY disable ABS on the fly without pulling fuses.

It's plenty close enough, you can put in 80-140 if you wanted too. He's not in Alaska or Maine so it won't affect anything

 

I put

75w-90 in the diffs and MT-90 in both t-case and trans on my 5 speed.

 

Lol... Just makin sure. Was literally headed out the door to buy fluids for my front diff and t-case. With intentions of buying

They aren't picky, I wouldn't go higher than 80-90 in the transfer case though, I don't think it's little oil pump would be too appreciative.

 

I was going to get it because its on sale for 2.75 they only had 4 quarts and 30 quarts of 80w-145. If they would have had enough for all 3 I would have bought them

 

So just go 80w-90... That would make both diffs and the T-case the same (and make it so I need to buy 1 less qt cause I have 1 left over from when I last did my rear diff)

 

I've run it plenty when I couldn't find 75-90, you're in a mild climate anyway so it'll be fine

 

Well shit if theres no down sides besides the cost I might just run mt90 in my transfer case also as I bought a gallon

 

I'm not sure I'd waste it on the case, but it won't hurt it.

 

Ya I had originally bought the gallon because it was cheaper then buying 3 quarts and I figured it wont go bad so it could sit on the shelf for years untill I swap the oils again. I dont drive my truck as much as most do. I've probably only put 20 maybe 30k miles on her in 5 years.

 

Don't know that I'd call it a waste, it's barely over a quart and makes it so I'm not having to swap around bottles or remember what goes into what since I do the trans and t-case at the same time and boths diffs at the same time. Not necessarily all 4 at the same time tho.

 

The t-case isn't picky and at $16 a quart Id just save it for something that is picky like the trans. You could pour recycled veggie fry oil in the tcase and it would probably be okay for a time haha

 

Spent some quality time with my Taco and my doggo this afternoon...

 

Finally got around to installing the RAM mount.

Ended up installing to the A Pillar and also the blank switch plate on the dash. As much as I wanted to put a switch where that blank sat, but I may end up leaving the RAM Mount there. More natural to look there vs. the A Pillar. Going to test both locations out and decide.

 

What climate control knobs are those?

 

Couple of different ones out there but these fit the best. No tape on the end of the stem needed.

Does anyone here have a pa? Theres been a 100w federal siren speaker on my truck since I bought it and I'm thinking of hooking it up but doing research the pa option on a CB radio will not be loud or I will have to buy a amp to power the speaker which could end up costing close to the price of a used federal pa amp/siren. Lemme know what you have if you have anything
