All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I picked up this flexible molle panel from my local tac shop. It is made by 5.11, also got a little variety of Condor pouches.
Pouches left to right are as follows: Map/Docs Bag, Flashlight/Glass Breaker, FAK/Tools

This is going to be used for prototypes I will be producing for various panels around the truck.

Got the SOG Flash II for $35 shipped! Knife retails for like $60. Definitely jump on that thread if you’ve been looking for a good knife at a reasonable price.

Almost as good as the field jacket liner which is woobie material. I still wear mine in the colder months instead of the waffle top until it gets real cold. This thing looks awesome though.

Is that mounting on the back of the seat? If so i would recommend a glass breaker on the visor panel for the driver or on a molle panel attached to middle console running on the carpet up towards right leg. If it is for the rear passengers then GTG.

SOG Flash is one of the best EDC knives ever. lightweight, deep pocket clip, good blade shape, optional serration, good spring assist, etc. I have 5 of them and rotate. SOG Aegis is another good self defense EDC option as well if you are already familiar with the flash. 35$ is a steal for those.

So I was searching for Molle panels and was blown away by what people were asking for these things. The small ones were pricey too, so I ran into this one made by 5.11 and was like $20.

Specially I bought it as I have plans on engineering some panels for the Tacoma, that will be in different places. This specific 5.11 pane uses the hexagon cutout allowing you to mount things vertical, horizontal and diagonal.

I carry my pup with me everywhere, so I am building a large one that will act as a dog barrier. A small one that will cover the sliding rear window. And a couple others that will be for hanging gear.

How do you secure the bedside gun? It looks like that’s an MPX? I have a similar dimension scorpion with brace and looking for a practical biometric bedside (or under bed) quick access safe that can fit it with the brace in the open position and possibly a suppressor down the road.

Nice man and yeah some of those molle panels are priced crazy. $20 is definitely doable. Plus 5.11 makes good gear.

or something similar hidden in plain sight. Not biometric but a few other companies do something similar and might offer it.

Honestly, I don't have children, nor do I ever have children over. That's an Aero Precision 5.56 w/ 7.5" barrel and sb brace. It tucks perfectly between my bed frame and box spring. So my hand literally lies on it over the edge of the bed. I have a safe that my long guns live in. But all of these are readily accessible. Maybe hidden in plain sight, but not locked.
