Did a bunch of research on rear suspension today even though it's a long ways off.. here is what i think im going to run for my buy once cry once setup. If any one has suggestions or notices something im missing, please dont hesitate to speak up. @hoverlover How are you liking the BAMF relocation with the smoothies? i've been trying to decide whether to get some smoothies or 2.5s.. I read in the relocation thread where someone put 12x2.5s in the relocation kit you're running. Trying to build a nice mid travel setup as i dont think i can pour the money into a LT setup as much as i would use it. Does anyone know a good driveshaft shop in the SA area that could add a slip yoke to my driveshaft?

    - TC SUA w/ deaver Heavy Duty springs
    - Kartek 12" Limit straps
    - Slip yoke for driveshaft
    - King 2.0 rear bumps
    - Wheel spacers for rear Bora .75" or 1.25"
    - - Bay Area Metal Fab 12" shock relocation
    - 12"x2.5" kings w/ resis & clickers

That’s a sweet setup what is the total travel difference compared to say a set of Dakars an billy b-100s?

That sir is a good question, and im not sure on that.. Should be quite a bit more droop to be had with SUA though vs an SOA setup im thinking As far as total travel #s though i can't say for sure. Do you know anyone running that setup? this has me curious now

SUA no idea but Chris has the bamf hanger kit I believe an had those 26-27in foxs. I would ask him I’ve seen the b-100s get flexy AF for being stock location on YouTube they are 26in iirc.

Is the 26-27 the extended length of the shock?

Extended length on the 12" kings is 31.585" collapsed is 19.585"

Not sure what the collapsed length on the foxs are. Im guessing different though.. I think the lower shock mount is relocated with the sua kit. Probably has similar total travel numbers

Makes sense without having to be sitting real tall in the rear. Either way that’s gonna be slick.

Bingo, nailed it on the head. Its about 2" of lift, which i like because that'll limit potential driveline vibes vs a full 3" lift. Trying to go prerunner oriented with the build but not going LT.. should get some pretty good numbers though when it's all said and done!:D

You've been running the LCAs made by Moog right? havent they been causing you issues? Been considering biting the bullet on a nice set of LCAs when i need LBJs
