Probably a good idea! Only thing I’d be worried about with off brand is it breaking.. I know the software license is only good for one computer. Has anyone had an issue with their computer breaking? Is it pretty straightforward you just have to buy the new software or will Matt work with you on that ??

 

I cant wait till windows catches up in the app department. I like my android tablet for nav and junk but windows would be more versatile.

 

Does anybody know if there is a good video of the full install procedure anywhere?

 

It's lenovo, just "refurbished" not "off brand". If it dies and you are a legit customer you will be taken care of.

go to the Original Post (OP) page one or www.ovtune.com. Per Mat - 2016,2017,2018 and 2019 (AT only) supported. Exception 04B00 and O4B01 ECU - those would be 2016 year without the TSB's performed - which would take the ECU to 04B02 and 04B03. So if you are 2018 you should be good to go. ??? see OP and send Mat an email at the Zen desk noted on OP.

easy to do. Even a cave man can do it. As note - instructions to a "t." Otherwise look for someone local to you and seek help. Be sure you have the proper computer - see Original Post or www.ovtune.com.

Okay that’s good to know! I have a surface pro that is a work computer.. I work on CNC machines, so it is always at high risk of getting smashed.. haha

 

You will (likely) download according to your ID. Do you know what your ID is? 04B02, 04B03...etc

 

You don’t need to install the driver assuming you already have the flashing software installed for the tune. It uses the tactrix driver. You just need to select the interface in TS.

What's going on with the handhelds? I recall OVT was waiting on something? Whoever they're waiting on; are they the only people on the planet that make that? There's no way to get the handhelds going?
