Beating the crap out of it?
    Salt flats
Driving on Bonneville speedway was incredible. Doing donuts on the salt with my kid laughing the whole way?

No kidding. We also ran into a member with paper tags.

The sand is actually what had me the most concerned because I've seen vehicle after vehicle just sink like it was mud.

We hit quite a few thick patches that I wouldn't attempt with an open diff. Even walking it, we sank past our ankles.

I'm sure we do. I'll ask the misses, I'm sure she has many on her phone.

We'll go again next week or so. I'll take some video, maybe even buy a go-pro.

I know she took video of us last week at the 4x4 training designated section they have.

Regarding the "park", I'm very impressed. The ranger station was well kept, clean bathrooms and zero trash anywhere.

85,000 acres of absolute heaven and beauty.

Kudos to all involved. I even tried looking for a place to "pay a fee" but the rangers insisted it's free to all.

You can camp up to 30 nights per year.

I'd highly recommend a ride out there if ever in the SoCal area. If anybody is interested, we can do a group trip.

Awesome. Did I just read some people in here upset about someone else off-roading their Tacoma OR? Now that’s some messed up shit.

Whichever the case, glad to see you enjoying your truck, even deflating the wheels to 15psi on stock rims, hell yes!

You’re clearly a sane and rational person, we should obviously take your advice.

I’d love to see a video. I’m calling bullshit because it looks too clean and my truck has never had close to the comfort of a Cadillac

If it’s performing well enough to put a smile on your face, then why change anything? Just curious.
