It really is great! I got burnt out on COD and never got into Fortnite, but this instantly just felt soo smooth

 

I think I am finally starting to get this game figured out. Played about 5-6 hours yesterday since my daughter was sick and had 11 wins. The more I play Apex, the better it gets.

(BTW, my gamertag is bamagolfguy for any of those smartass comments I know are coming)

Yessir. I will say I was addicted yesterday though. Teething baby + sick wife + them sleeping a lot with me not being able to leave the house incase they needed something = me + Apex Legends

 

Anyone playing Apex on PC? iiK0NiiK is my Origin UN (The 0 is a zero). It's hands down the best BR game out right now.

Totally understand. I was a console gamer up until a few years ago, but I'll say this... For $650 you'd be amazed at what you could play at high settings. Graphics cards and CPUs have pushed so far ahead of the current generation of games so the lower priced stuff is more than adequate for 1080p gaming. When I first built my rig in 2013 I had to buy a $450 graphics card to run high settings in games. Now a $200 will do that and more. Plus with a PC you can always upgrade down the line instead of it being obsolete. The only reason anyone should drop north of a grand on a PC is if they want to do 4k gaming at native resolutions.

Just something to think about if you ever get any spare cash... which I know is almost impossible when you own a Toyota and visit this site daily.

 

lmao accurate af. I find myself spending about 300-400$ on a console about every 8 years or so, which is about the same time frame computers seem to need new cards or drivers or whatever it may be.

I also would immerse myself WAY too much if I was a computer gamer...console gaming doesn't seem to require as much from me...if that makes sense?

 

Absolutely. And I'll admit I miss gaming on the couch with my surround sound system.

 

Haha I actually use a headset for mine. Noise cancelling for the dogs, and the girlfriend...and for communication with friends.

 

Apex is the only BR game I can play longer than an hour. The ability to ping things makes this game not only tolerable with randos, but really sets it apart from other BRs.

It feels like this is the game Islands of Nyne could have been.

 

agreed, the ping system is amazing, and honestly the looting system is hands down the best of any BR I've seen.

 

Auto equip mods and quick swap!? I'm basically a pro BR player.

 

im seriously addicted to apex lol. I cant even go back to pubg or blackout they feel so slow and clunky compared to apex

 

I finally gave apex a shot yesterday, and it’s way better than I expected. Unfortunately it won’t let me and my other two friends play together. One of us always gets an error message, so I’m hoping it’s a temporary glitch that gets fixed soon.

 

for a while I couldn't play with my one buddy, everytime we started a game it would boot me and say xbox live error, but they had an update and its been fine since so they are probably still working out server glitches

 

Considering the mass popularity this game has had in its 8 day life, I'm sure the servers are saturated with people downloading and playing it.
