@RobP62 is that your truck in the middle? If some what happened to your grill emblem?

I screwed up and told someone I'd install a remote start for them Saturday. Then they decided it was too cold doe me to do it.
I couldn't convince them otherwise. By the time all was said and done it was too late to drive out there.
I would have gotten there around 2:40ish.

    Mornin' James,
Yes, I removed the emblem and stripped the anodizing off, and sent it back to be redone. I should have taken the time to throw a couple coats of some kind of clear. The salt here just wore it out and it looked like shit.

    Before

(This is a close up of the back)

    After a year

    20190120_152128~2.jpg

So he is charging me $25 to have it redone, including shipping it back.

Here's how it looked after I stripped the anodizing off with Easy Off oven cleaner, 0000 steel wool, then polishing it with a buffing wheel and some metal polish

Yea, I was going to text you Saturday but I thought I remembered you saying you had something going on and I didn't want to bug you.

An old buddy of mine has a pretty nice 3rd gen in DE. I'm sure he has an account here, but he probably doesn't post much. I think it is a TRD Sport MGM on SCS SR8

Love that SxS....my wife wants a golf car. I want a SxS. For what people pay for golf carts these days I think a SxS is totally justifiable.

Thanks. I love that thing. Its alot different than a golf cart. 1000cc with front & rear differential lockers, hydraulic dumpbed but it will still seat 5 adults so it's great for work & play. Bed is rated for 1000lbs & its rated to tow 2000lbs. Paddle shifters or full auto. Tilt wheel, 4 wheel disc brakes. Electric ps. Can't beat it, and has the reliability of a honda.

Owie. I think that is out of my budget. If I found a Chinese one for the mega cheap I'd probably scoop it. A buddy of mine has a Chinese one with a 6.5 hp actual Honda engine (not a clone) with 4x4 and locking rear diff. It has been great for him. They are just hard to find.

I spend a lot of time using a Kawasaki Mule. It is an amazingly simple but effective machine. Great for hauling firewood and dragging the log splitter around.

It wasn't cheap. Only reason I justified buying it was now since I bought my cabin I have a place to use it and I sold a motorcycle for a $7k profit. So i put that 7k down on it. Just before I bought my cabin I sold my honda 4x4 ATV & my dirtbikes to help fund my new garage. I regretted that move when I bought my cabin.
