That work schedule is for Seniors only at my school. I still don't do anything all day. I only use a pencil 1st (Physics), and 7th (English 3) periods. The rest of the periods are to sleep, eat, listen to music, or watch Netflix.

It was the same for us but my case was a little different. I became an emancipated adult at 16 an had a apartment with my best friend at the time an his older brother.

    Cause “fight the power”!!
My folks were really hard on me an was tired of taking it. Dad started charging me actual rent at 16. I was making really good money for a highscooler an had a newish dirt bike an went an got a z71 that was nicer than my dads truck at the time. He was trying to teach me as he says “responsibility”. So my attitude was if I’m gonna pay rent gonna make my own rules, so that’s what I did.
Jokes on him I still have no real responsibility other than a job.:anonymous:

My dad did the same to my brother, only because he thinks my bros "financial priorities are fucked up." My bro will end up with a $35,000 signing bonus as an RN for the nicest hospital we got down here... this jackass wants to buy a Mustang GT 5.0 with that money cause he doesn't like his 2012 Nissan Sentra amymore. My dad thinks I'm a bit more mature overall politically, and financially than my brother, which is why he got me my truck at age 16. My bro didn't get his car until he was 18. You would think that I'm the favorite, but my mom also thinks my 24 year old brother still thinks like a high schooler.

Crazy!! You do seem like your head is focused on bigger things than just 4 spinning wheels. I had to work my arse off to get anywhere in life, an was just enjoying the benefits of financial freedom at the time. I was really into MX back then the truck was just get to the track an riding spots an some light wheeling. My folks were both Air Force think that has a lot to do with it.
I’m an only child an didn’t get spoiled was pulling weeds an clearing brush at 13 so I could save up to pay the $180 to play football. Worked in a granite an marble place in school my job was to take the raw rock from truck an carry it to cutters. Then proceed to carry heavy arse chunk to the crews truck for install.
2 years later joined military having someone yelling an ordering me around once again...but I was getting paid this time(albeit not much took a pay cut from that shop job.)

My dad works as a truck driver working from 6 in the afternoon to about 7 in the morning. My mom is retired from being a petroleum chemist at a Pemex laboratory in Mexico. I'm not really given any mod money, I usually wash cars, and mow lawns to be awarded mod money, of which I use for gas, and food. In the end, I'll have $20 going to my actual mod fund.

I told my dad "I'm getting a new TRD Sport in 2024, and I'm turning my old 2008 into a toy" ;)

Edit: It's great that you and your dad are getting along now. I'm not a bad person, and my dad fully supports my life decisions 100%

Yeah, I was thinking of 4x4 swapping, LT Kings, skids, Baja fenders, and vinyl wrapping it entirely in a ridiculous color like Rainbow Road from Mario Kart 64. Here's the vinyl wrap I'm talking about:

Here's my car wash method of washing this biotch

    Step 1:
Pressure wash the tires with Purple Power degreaser, and a brush. This degreaser is crazy cheap, and works wonders. I scrub the tires until the foam is white.

    Step 2:
Drive to the local coin wash. Rinse, Foam Brush, and rinse

    Step 3:
    Clean the interior

    Step 4:
Spray a towel with Meguiars Wax, and dry the paint with a separate towel

    Step 5:
Take pictures, post on Chads thread, and talk shit to @Plain Jane Taco

There you have it, a nice, clean truck. :D
