It will take me awhile to make it right. But yes it will be right and tight.

and you guys ask why we pay a little more to live in these areas!! this is why, I hate when police won't enforce issues because their own vehicles probably do the same things like straight pipes and HIDs. this is coming from someone that lives in Clanton, one of the lowest funded educational places around.

Eh. I grew up in Hoover. The kids at my high school (Spain Park) were not much better.

I wouldn't say I'm a GM fan, but a good engine is a good engine. The LS is hard to beat.

I also agree with you about the keeping things same brand, but the problem is if you put a Toyota solid front axle under the front of a V8 toyota, with a toyota rear you're going to have a bad time. No matter what you're going to have to go to different brands on some of the drivetrain.

It's kinda like buying kitchen utilities, no one want's every different brand because even the colors being close will never be the same.

Honestly, I'll probably keep the house i'm in forever simply for schools for that "IF" i ever have kids, or for rental.

So far I expect be at a place in life, a year or two, where I could move back out in the country and still afford both places, and put this one up for rent.

Idk that i'll ever own a big house nor 55 acres again, it's just too much if you don't have someone filling every room or farm animals / neigbor to cut it for hay..

I wasn't referring to the police car, the policeman's personal vehicle is what i meant lol.

people have gotten smarter here in recent years, back when my parents were buying land you could get it cheap enough to sell the timber and come out positive.

now if the trees are close to harvesting you pay a pretty penny. so even 99% woodland is expensive :angrygirl:

It will have ford axles most likly. Im just talking powerplants. And im not one to follow what everyone else is doing. I want anything i build to be unique. Would be cool to see a sas, bobed and narrowed street legal crawler. I think its very possible to do.

@whitedlite im not a city boy. I dont like the traffic and i dont like being close to other people. I want to live in the woods and have a small farm. That is why i live in the boonies, the schools in alabama all suck compared to where i grew up but the smaller to school the better potential my kids have to not get lost in the crowd. Just my 2 cents

Certain schools in Alabama’s major cities definitely don’t suck by any standard. However the greater amount of schools that do suck bring the overall ratings down.
