Can you gain more travel with those? Or what are the benefits of upgrading shackle hangers besides it being a stronger one?

Im glad to hear that you will look into it, I really think that might fit your style more especially since you can wait. Yep the DMZ rear is considered an LT setup since you can pull 15-17 inches of travel depending on how you set it up, but will require the relocation of both your front and rear hangers as the leafs are wider than stock springs for more arch. I did sell my SUA a while back...aye I need to update that sales thread. Not gonna lie man, I think you will be much happier in a dmz rear over the tc one and the dmz has so much more potential with that set up over just the tc one. Also the dmz kit provides all the hangers so you will have have a meaty rear. If you want to have yours like mine though, then you will need a bed cage to some degree or you can be like this creeper @Jerez with keeping the shocks under the bed which you could then use the bamf/archive garage route and not worry about breaching the bed or bed cage.

Speaking of...you going to be around in March for some possible wheeling Jerez?

Much beefier and will stiffen your rear frame construction which is better for the suspension to cycle and what not.

Haha dammit man.. you're already convincing me to go LT.. The DMZ setup sounds really nice and the price is good too. Do you know what else i would need besides what's in their kit? Like other bits and pieces for shock mounts im guessing? but seems like mostly everything is there.

Do you know off the top of your head what the biggest shock you can fit without cutting into the bed? im guessing maybe a 14? I would like to avoid cutting through the bed.. Are glass bedsides required with the DMZ setup or can i cut my stock bedsides?

Im thinking that you could get away with stock bedsides if you stay under the bed, but I would call Tim at DMZ and see if it is ok to do that. 14s are what I am thinking as well that would work before getting into the bed. I will say this though, if you plan to run 35s then I would strongly recommend glass as they will be pretty big.

Tim should be able to sell you all the parts in the kit as long as you tell him you want him to put it all in there. I want to say shipped the kit was around 2300 with all the stuff including the bed boxing kit, which if you dont box your rear then I would expect closer to 2100 shipped. Awesome that you are considering LT!

14" is as long as you can go and stay under the bed. That's what I'm running. @ARCHIVE Garage is the only on that sells shock towers advertised to work with 14" shocks unless you go with something custom. BAMF and TC towers are for 12" shocks.

With 2.5 shocks and a relocate, you pretty much have to run spacers to clear the shock body when you're flexed. You can get away with just cutting the stock bedsides. A lot of people already do that to run 35s with regular SUA setups and no shock relocate, but your tires are going to stickout past the body which could be an issue depending on where you are. Fiberglass is good because you can keep everything inside the body.

Will do, i might do some glass bedsides, but i have to figure out how i'd get that to work with my camper shell. Not opposed to cutting the sides of the camper down if need be, but i definitely want to keep it. Will probably bite the bullet and get the full DMZ kit so i dont regret it and have to re-do it later on.. Probably going to run 35s as well so glass is more than likely to happen

Saw those in your build, gonna go the archive garage route as well with 14s. Do you know what size spacers are required with 2.5s? im guessing a 1.25 at the minimum? Probably adding glass as well

Sounds good and I think you will like that set up with dirtys. I would see if you can develop some sort of reinforced tubing that bolts into the bed bolts so the camper shell doesnt have all of its weight on the glass as I can imagine driving at speed could cause some destruction on top of the bedsides. I used to have an RTT on my ride, but it has been in the garage since I havnt made a bed bolt frame to where I can remount the RTT back on it.

I run 1.5" spacers on my rear with 2.5 triple bypasses...I would def recommend 1.5 if you are going to run 2.5s.

If I remember correctly from the instructions, they recommend 1.5" minimum depending on wheel backspace.

Agreed, I dont think anyone runs 1.25" spacers for the dmz kit cause those 2.5s need a good spacing.
