I can get the black bumper end caps for $100 and the dealerships body shop quoted me $320 for painting it BBP color. Should I do it? I hate the chrome lol

I prefer color matched for my truck. You could always plasti dip your caps black and see how you like that. Worst case, you are out the cost of a can of dip.

If you hate the chrome then go for it. Plenty of pictures around of BBP with color matched bumpers so seeing what it'll look like shouldn't be a problem.

Yeah I just wasn’t sure on the price. I have the money, just wasn’t sure I was being burned on the price. To me it sounds like a fair price for a dealership...thanks!

I vote color matched. Also, I’d call around some reputable body shops and get a quote. Might be able to save a buck. Best of luck!

Does that price include labor to take it apart so they can spray those plastic endcap pieces?

No it doesn’t....sorry. That’s me bringing them the end caps and them prepping and painting them. I’ll do the install myself.

I've never had Tacoma bumper caps painted, but that seems about in line with what I'd expect it to cost based on other stuff I have had done (plastic bumper covers for cars, etc.).
