My lively hood revolves around tools and fasteners, but at the risk of forfitting my man card, I will admit that I have a hard time telling bolt and nut sizes.

Been thinking of getting the same one for a while now. Be curious to know if you happen to run into any problems with it

i doubt it. it seems heavy duty, 100lbs. just need to bleed the lines to make sure its works properly. Should work fine

I have a 20+ year old 2.5ton jack bought from HF. I have done nothing to it, new or since. It has been great. There are times when I wish it would just give me a reason to get one of those Daytonas, mainly for the rapid pump feature.

    Oh well . . .

I had one of the orange torches from HF. It melted in a pretty dangerous manner, and I couldnt shut it off. Threw it in the yard to let it burn itself out. Beware.

The guy who burned his truck down with one should do some forensics......

I’ve never had issues or my father who’s an electrician by trade. We’ve probably got about 20 between us, some of the older yellow color and also the new red color. No complaints.

Need to see if it's even got power on the backside. Could be it's wired into loose wires that go nowhere to look functional. Found out it didn't work when I tried to buzz my hair... Had to run an extension cord from the hallway plug.

My display reads pretty eradic numbers. I'm hoping it's just a low battery but I haven't had good luck with anything with a display from HF. The digital torque wrench doesn't like to turn on 75% of the time making it useless. Maybe it's the cold

Why is this amazing thread buried in the second gen forum? It is not the only one but it is puzzling why so many great threads are never moved to a more appropriate location. It's only 206 pages thick.

People on TW suck at categorizing threads. You should see the stuff that ends up in the 3rd gen section.

I feel like we are currently in the transition period on the forum where everything is going from being put in the 2nd gen forum to being put in the turd gen forum haha
