i'm giving it away to a good friend when that camper comes. these toppers are really the best though... light weight, versatile, look cool! i sleep under it in the pouring rain. water does come in at the corners but it trickles down usually behind the drawers so i stay dry.

SOS typically does a tax season sale. Good deals to be had.

Just checked them out. Definitely the most expensive of all the companies I've seen so far.

I’m going to assume you’re referring to BB because Eddy as SOS has pretty competitive pricing.

You asked if there were any other vendors close to Ga, you got an answer.

Yeah saw them on CL this morning and hit him up and then came on here to see if it was someone on the site selling them and saw you linked it too. Pretty excited b/c I was just about to drop some coin on some new ones.

It's not so much a cutout as it is a bigger hole to allow access to the drain plug. I would not have purchased if I had to remove the skid everytime.

Another advantage to the AllPro route: If you decide to protect the transmission too, their mid-skid is about the cheapest one on the market. The IFS was 10% off, free shipping and came with a hoodie when I ordered mine. If they ever do that deal again, I'll be all over that mid-skid. Heck, I might be all over it anyway....someday.

Are they still a TW Vendor? If so, someone quote me and tag them

Bud Built seems to have fallen into the shadows on TW. However, they have the reputation for being the best. If you plan to actually use your skids for the intended purpose, they are the way to go. That being said, it's kind of hard to screw up a skid plate.

AP fell off the vendor wagon here right before they went belly up. Now that the name has been purchased by Trail Gear, who knows what the future holds.

BB has always been under appreciated on TW. Not really sure why honestly. I agree their stuff seems to be legit and built for use rather than insta-broing

    AP went belly up? Dang.

I knew they had a bad reputation, but the products seemed to be good for what they are.

Still unpacking from the move. Found an unused Toytec Swaybar relocate kit for 2nd gen if anyone in the area is in the market. Unsure if fits others....

...now that I say that, I don't think the frame changed, so should be good for 3rd gen as well. I'll let someone else verify that.

Yup. Two big names went down in a similar time frame. Took a lot of folks money and trust.

I personally put my money and trust in vendors like @state48overland and @JDEMELLO

When I bought my bed bars from "Allpro" it was a mixed bag.

The lady I spoke with was super helpful and nice, but she was mainly just a phone personality. Had to put me on hold for every question. Also she was a TrailGear employee. Shipping was fast, and I assume that since they're now operating under a parent company, they have the cash flow to keep items in stock. They're not built to order like many of the other armor companies.

I'd definitely buy from them again. You don't have the personal interaction like you would buying from some of the smaller companies, but it's nice to be able to place an order and have it to your door the same week vs. waiting 2-3 months.

Yeah, from what I have heard-AP was sold to TG for a good chunk of coin. Not so much a 'going belly up' deal vs. maybe someone just being done with the business.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
I got SOS and @SOS CONCEPTS , Eddy gets my vote every time. Just tell him what you want. You want Bud Built 1/4" then so be it. He can also do cut outs on the valence front slope. Mine is standard thickness with no design cutout, but I do have a hole cut for oil pan/drain access. I'm pretty sure that is standard for all of his.

Aww. Thanks for the clarification Erick. I knew their customer service had gone to shit. Not meeting lead times, shipping the wrong parts, etc.
