Just not sure what LCA's I would go for if its fucked up. I'm seeing MOOG and Dorman but not sure if those are close to OEM Spec... as you can tell I'm dumb dumb not smart with this stuff lol

^Either Moog or Dorman is fine. There's a good chance both came from the same subcontractor in China. (It also means the ball joint on a Moog LCA can be lower quality than the Moog ball joints sold separately on the market...)
In October, I bought the whole set (nuts and bolts, enough to do one LCA) for ~$150 from Cochrane Toyota. :notsure:

Yeah, the first gen LCA doesn't have the ball joint integrated, so I'm actually having trouble finding MOOG or Doorman for first gen.

Yep, and 4 brands to choose from. You can even spend extra and get AC Delco ones, to get the shameful feeling of having GM parts on your truck.

I don't know, all cam bolts were a lot more. Like I said, I felt it in my throat after....Think they were purchased from a local dealer. I didn't get the chance to pick them up from a online source.....

oh yeah @Taco-Bell I got Dormans. I don't remember what I paid, I think it was about 400 bucks for both sides. OEM new LCA's are expensive as fuck, like 550 each if I remember correctly! again, this is all for 2nd gen stuff hahaha but yeah, to rebuild the control arms with all oem parts is just as expensive a buying new OEM ones. I went thru all this a while ago and put part numbers with prices all listed out in my build thread! hahaha so I opted for after market Dorman LCA's but OEM hardware cuz from what I have read, aftermarket hardware sucks dicksickles. I picked up all the LCA hardware for 300 bucks from Toyotapartsdirect.ca, it was 50$ less then the dealer.

I've been looking around, rock auto has either MOOG or ACdelco for the 1st gens. ACdelco is more, but with shipping turns out to be less than the MOOGs somehow, comes to around $300 for both LCAs and then $260 for the cam hardware. Going to wait to see what 4wp says about the alignment but I don't have my hopes up for it being good lol...

If I do go the bushing removal route, I found these (https://www.amazon.com/gp/cart/view.html) which according to @Timmah!'s LCA bushing swap video, will work. I'll just need to use a bottle jack to press the oldies out, then rent a ball joint removal tool kit from Canadian Tire and use my bench vice and the cup to press the new ones in. What a headache.
