Can’t wait! Probably going to spend one day each at Wildcat, Loon, and Cannon; trying to figure out which to hit first.

Still have yet to ride wildcat. I camped/hiked/skied tuckerman ravine a few years back and wildcat looked pretty nice from tuckerman.

It would be great to throw one of those on a tacoma 5 speed...and lend your truck to someone...or do it to a rental car...

My question for the day is this.

Has anyone ever considered removing the bedliner on their taco to inspect it, and to clean it, maybe hit the bed with the wax before reinstalling it?

    Thoughts?

Or just switch the shift knobs from the '84 and the '69, since they're opposite.

Loon and Cannon are pretty much right down the street from each other so you might want to start at Wildcat then make your way to the other side of the Presidentials.

Also, some of these places were closed last week due to high winds. Definitely keep an eye out on the forecast, maybe even check in with the different mountains.

Thanks for coming to the North Country!!

I used to pull the bedliner in my '99 every year. I'd sweep & wash it out, let it dry, then spray the entire bed down with one of those 'big blast' cans of WD40 before I put the bedliner back in.

One of my favorite places to visit; and lucky it’s so close to home. Another reason I love living in New England. Throwback pic of my wife and the taco last time we were in the area:

    Nice pic!
I know what you mean, so much my wife and I moved up here going on 20 years ago.

This was taken last April from Rt 302. The lighting was too good to pass up.

Hey y'all. Looks like a snow event tomorrow. Good day to pick up my new ride @mach1man001 :

My first turbocharged vehicle ever! It was still in the crate Saturday when I bought it, so actual pictures will have to wait until tomorrow.

Right, because sleds aren't complicated and expensive enough, let's drop a turbo in there!

I suppose. Body rust wasn't really an issue; even the underside was still immaculate when I handed my keys over. I should have done it with the damned frame; Arizona truck that was in Maine for less than 5 years and still ended up all swiss cheese-y by the rear spring mounts. Fortunately I knew that the warranty was running out in the next couple of months so I had Toyota check it one last time. Ended up with a $16k check for a truck I'd paid $6k for.

    Edit: Photos.
    Super clean body, even underneath.

    The frame...not so much

Still miss that truck, though. Thing was a tank.

Yeah, I'm kinda worried about it myself. Don't those things spin like 100k rpms or something? And I'm beating the ever loving shit out of it on icy trails... but it's got a 2 year warranty and whatever, I'll make Ski Doo fix it.

Meh. If it's going to fail, it'll do it 60 miles back in the woods, in 10 degree weather, at night, on a holiday.
