Do you have anymore details on these? How does the 4130 chrome-moly compare as far as performance? How was the install? Looks like the sdhq mounts completely different to the frame than most, and I like it!

SOS concepts here. 100$ to Alaska. Other places wanted to rail me on the hood of my truck with a dirty sock in my mouth for the shipping. Haha. Jk. The shipping and build was good on the sliders!

I don't know if this was mentioned before but I would like to give a recommendation. I just received my MobTown Bolt-on's for my 18 OR. They arrived bare metal so I had to come up with a durable coating solution. A fella I work with likes to use bedliner on many of his vehicles. He started using Raptor Liner about 2 years ago... The stuff is amazing.. The finish is uniform and super durable. I just ordered a 4 quart kit with a gun for $107 shipped. The stuff is worth a look for the Diy taco owner....

See my build thread in my signature
They have them on their website they also have a page on here just search their username @SDHQ OFFROAD and as far as performance 4130 is way stronger than DOM and it also is lighter so not only are they lighter they are also stronger. For mounting they use 4 points on the frame including the front cab mount utilizing special hardware and brackets they developed and produce.

I'm looking for something that will not only provide protection on the moderate trails I drive, but also provide the most protection against door dings while parked.

Any idea which slider sticks out the most?

What’s your experience been with these sliders so far. It looks like a great deal, but I’m a bit concerned that each side comes in 2 parts. Have you had any issues with durability?

RCI for me. Powder coat looks great and shipped in a respectable time frame. Well packaged also.

Mobtown are worth the wait. I like their clamping and I think they have the best fill plate design. They make a really nice step for my little girl.
