Yeah you can, although the valving is not matched specifically to the spring pack like the Icon Rxt shocks are. The shock will probably be the limiting factor at full droop, and you will want to make sure whatever shock you use has a compressed length that is more than that of the spring when it hits the bump stop. I’m running bilstein 5125’s for the short term and an quite impressed with the ride in the back. 1000 times better than stock.

You can get those kings built for most applications i believe.

Going to do that when I get my ADS rears.

Anyone getting squeaking from their RXT leaf springs? My truck is sounding like it's 30 years old at the moment. Not sure where the source of the noise is coming from though.

Mine is making a mild creaking noises. Not to terribly bad to drive me nuts yet, but definitely dont care for it. Lots of posts of guys with the dakar leaf packs trying damn near everything under the sun to get rid of the squeaks.

Just to confirm, it is the end where the second leaf curves over the first leaf goes forward?

Yes. The front half of the leaf pack has the 2 leaf stays(guess thats what their called), they look like a ubolt and open end up. Their is only one on the back half of the leaf and it has the open end facing down.
Here is another pic of back of the leaf wheee it attaches to the shackle

Sweet I got it right. Whew. Thanks for detailed help @slomoe . Were the supplied u-bolts a bit wider than the stock ones for you? I having trouble getting them through the seat plate, but I'm a bit concerned it's the wrong size?

Not an issue, mine were the same. Just squeeze them together a little on the open/ threaded end.

Sadly, I have YET to put the springs to the test! It's been a winter of zero trips! No plans to get the truck rigged up until the end of June! ;-0

Just picked up the leaf packs today...have a question off the bat.
^^^this (from a respected vendor) says they are shipped at option 2, however this screenshot from the directions on icon’s website says they are shipped at option 1...has something changed :notsure:

If you read right next to “Option 1”, it says they are “shipped at this setting”.

You need to swap out the third leaf to get to Option 2, and add the leaf to get to Option 3.
